In short: hilly race that had something for everyone. In full: a new race for the area, a tough challenge for anyone. a great place to stage a race with amazing scenery (shame about the fog!). The idea of having a Devon vs Cornwall team challenge worked and can be added to for the future. got lost a couple of times, purely down to making sure signs are placed in the right position for the runners. tough tough tough course and has potential for the future. In short: nice race organised by local club In full: well done to TRRC for this. testing course in testing conditions. headwind in 1st half and very humid in 2nd half. good marshal support with enough water stations for conditions. course allowed to stay away from busy parts of broadstairs and ramsgate and lots of pedestrians. start/finish were wellmarked and supported and each runner 'named' by man on microphone which was a nice touch. food, toilet and changing areas are considered and donw well. t-shirt, goody bag and medal with massage tent available, what else do you need? thanks very much. In short: challenging race with great crowd support In full: new start, early start, new runners village..all new touches but this does not distract from a great race. started 5 minutes late to ensure the runners safety was paramount. crowd support around the course was very good especially Royal Parade, Saltram and on the Hoe. Support team did a fantastic job, from marshals, massage team, finish line team and the 'race pacers'. keep up the good work! and the roads were opened in time to allow the moaners of Plymouth get to the shops on time!
