In short: potentially a fast flat race with great scenery
In full: Despite being in orange wave (c) I had a really slow start there were people walking even before the 5km mark and many other slow runners that were difficult to pass so that was my PB out the window! I am sure i also saw white and green numbers mixed in with the orange people too!

Apart from the starting waves the other organisation was great, i loved the run through shower it was a great relief on a hot day! The free massage and people handing out jelly babies was also great!

The last couple of miles were into strong wind but at least it was sunny and there was a great view!

As for the parking, I parked on the common walked to gunwarf after the race for a meal and by the time I returned the roads were clear!

For such a large event it ran pretty smoothly!

In short: Great cross country course on mixed terrain
In full: I liked the fact that there were no roads or pavements at all. The course was challenging, was it just me or was there more uphill than down? The bananas were well appreciated! I did actually get a PB not sure how though as it was a challenging course!
