In short: Difficult to criticize anything - flat course in perfect conditions, well organized as usual; thanks to all involved
In full: 'bout time Wokingham HM was done in good weather - this year was pay back for all the presistance through cold / wind / rain in previous years. Started (justifiably) near the front so had no problems there, but judging from other responses, seems attempt to overcome the previous bottleneck still needs a bit of thought.

In short: Exhilarating
In full: Agreed; never a PB marathon course but at least you can still set your fastest mile within a marathon!: coming down from Pen-y-pass and seeing the road and race stretch out down Nantgwynant must be one of the best sights / feelings in road racing - will never forget it. Thanks to all those that made it possible.

In short: Good atmosphere, and well organised - heat and hills took a couple of minutes off a pb but still well worth doing

In short: Well organised, challenging run. Refreshing avoidance of the increased commercialism that seems to be overtaking other runs in the area.

In short: Cold and wet but lots of free tea
In full: PB's certainly possible, although most of last 2k is moderately up hill, and the down hill stretch is up and down drive ways opening on to the A329 - not exactly rural! - so there are marginally faster courses. But - they have been running this one for years and it works like clockwork; very friendly with loads of marshals; trophies for 1,2,3 places for virtually all gender x age combinations; and as much tea as you want - recommended (the race as well as the tea).
