In short: A lovely race....
In full: On the down side,4 portaloos is not sufficient for the numbers of runners or spectators.
No official baggage storage.
That was a very long mile between 9 and 10.My son who finished in 1hr 20 mins was averaging 6 minute miles until then when it jumped to 7min 10.Mmm!
Apart from that this was a very well organised race, well supported and marshalled and much better than the Bath Half (also on today).
Good work,I'll be back next year!!!
Apart from those two minor nigglesAll

In short: It's getting better...
In full: A vast improvement on previous years. The crowd support was more vocal and supportive in places, the water stations were better prepared and managed. The marshalls were brilliant!
Heard some gripes about the lack of a t shirt.Queues for toilets too long.
Can Cardiff cope with a bigger field? It would need a drastic overhaul of the support network (i.e. improved bus and train service).Possible Park and Ride from Leckwith?
Good fun all the way! I'll be back!!

In short: To quote Tony the Tiger;"It's greeeeaaaaat!"
In full: And for me it just cannot be improved on.Yet again the whole event fromm start to finish was so well organised and managed. My son was a tad annoyed about the late arrivalat the finish of the baggage bus though. He did 1hr 25mins and the buses still took another 20 minutes to get there.
For me though it really cannot be improved on.
To everyone concerned, including those lovely people of Newcastle and South Shields who again lined the streets and supported evry runner, thank you! You are what makes the run great!

In short: Another good year for Hereford...however...
In full: Not sure what the problem was with getting the watersations set up this year? Previous years all things have gone extremely well,so hopefully this is just one of those minor glitches.Marshalling was good and again the support even in the most rural parts was very good.
I think it perhaps time now that chip timing was brought in?
I will be back next year!

In short: A lovely day.....but who put the hills there?
In full: First time for me in this race and thouroughly enjoyed it.Normally saty in Wales for the Porthkerry Plod.Glad that I didn't this year.Well worth the effort.
Well organised and marshalled.Possibly for next year a couple of Portaloos?
Very impressed by the whole set up!
(And my son finished 7th!!)

In short: Good to see this old friend back!
In full: A lovely day in the sunny Vale Of Glamorgan.
A cracking run throught the lanes,a gentle breeze and plenty of sunshine.
A tee shirt that fits! A spot prize with some excellent things in it.
Great to see so many people making the effort again.Lets embrace and keep this racegoing for ever!
(Only slight complaint though,is a paper cup of tea really £1.50?)

In short: A grand day out!
In full: So much better than last year!
Organisation was superb and the delay at the start was no fault of the organisers!

In short: Things are getting better.
In full: On the plus side:
More toilets this year, well organised baggage storage and a less crowded start area. The new route was a challenge as well,it makes a changeand breaks up the complacency.
Very good Goody Bag!
Not so good:
Some marshalls need to know the difference between left and right. Water stations poorly organised (one bunch found it hilarious to throw the bottles to runners and laughed when they couldn't catch them causing people to slip on them!)
Crowds at the finish encroaching onto the road, despite the best efforts of the commentator to move them back,in which case where were the Marshalls?
Over all impressions:
Better than last year certainly,it may be worth not having the Barrage again next year?
Get the water sorted and better oirganised starting areas and you'll have a good standard of race.

In short: How many ways are there to say this? The best yet!!!
In full: And that's saying something!
Year on year this race, the whole set up just gets better and better.
I can say no more other than a massive thankyou to everyone involved, from the maniac Alan Robson whose commentary at the start of the morning to the race setting off,is bloody wonderful!Time for a medal for him I think!
All the volunteers at the water stations, the bands, the police, the first aiders, the runners- YOU ARE WHAT MAKES IT THE GREATEST RUN ON EARTH!!!
