In short: fair enough
In full: Thought it was a decent race with some nice touches-the T shirt was good, bananas a plenty and won't comment on Marmite bars. The course was a lot tougher than I expected and the start too tight for nearly 1000 runners. Well signposted start positions ignored by people. All in all a decent race whch I will probably do again.

In short: Bargain half
In full: Loved it and reflected in a big pb. Sure its not the most beautiful route but t shirt, medal and goody bag for £18, Birmingham take note. Definately be back. Top job.

In short: top effort by a top club
In full: tough race but scenic and a little bit different. The goody bag was superb and the reception received by the marshalls and at the end was first class. top Top effort.

In short: top job
In full: loved this race despite nature's efforts-the hills are challenging and the last one is very much so. The goody bag was nice. Just want to say thank you to the marshalls who braved the downpour you deserve a mdal too.

In short: nice first 10 miler
In full: Did enjoy the race, a nice mix was windy and there are some testing hills. One slight niggle would be the traffic from the side roads especially for the faster runners. Well worth the entry and a t shirt.

In short: loved it
In full: This was my second efffort and probably last go at the distance. Had some great banter around the course-with runners/marshalls and spectators. Do agree the cups were a mistake and the water tasted odd to me. Some of the villages were special. If I come back it will be for the half.

In short: undulating yeh
In full: Had look forward to this for some time
Pro's-beautiful scenery-Eagleton marshalls top drawer-slower runners unity and nice comments from some of the quality runners.
Con's-ridiculously hilly-lonely run-the two laps was morale sapping watching the best athletes racing past you. Hardly any atmosphere on the run so lonely at parts except start/end and most of the marshalls.

In short: hot and hilly
In full: fair enough except attempting to find car parking was a nightmare. The heat was tough as was were the hills. Got a pb but missed my target by 1 min 10 secs. Some nice touches like the bbc cheer section, plenty of drinks and support-even cheese and pineapple if you wanted.

In short: my first half and loved it
In full: My first half and loved it, the support was super had my name on my prostate cancer shirt and my name was called out by the locals and the dj at the end. The hill at six miles is challenging and caught a good few out-unfortunately missed my goal by 3 mins on my watch but whatever. Will be back and get my pacing right. Loved it and the minutes applause moving and brilliantly observed

In short: second time around
In full: Ran here in November and decided to give it another go-paced my wife through her first 10k. The organisation is enthusiastic and a definate improvement on November-agree with the guy who said stones were an issue. The course had changed since November too. Liked the medal. Please please put some signs up showing the way.
See you again later this year.
