In short: well organised, very muddy, mostly walkers In full: A well organised walk and run event with a choice of 8.5, 15 or 20 miles. This is very much a fun event rather than a serious race - no official timings and distances aren't accurately measured.
The course was very muddy, glad I decided to wear hiking boots and walk it. Really wouldn't have wanted to do this in trainers.

In short: flat course, well organised, would do it again In full: My 2nd half-marathon, flat course helped me get under 2 hours for the first time. Event organisation was very good, goody bag at end was perfect - banana, crisps, cake, drink. Samba band was a nice touch too. Date of review: November 24, 2010
