In short: A running phenomenon in the making
In full: From the people who brought you the Bushy Park Time trial, this is a pleasant two-lap course through the trees of Wimbledon Common. Brilliantly organised thanks to volunteers, results e-mailed within hours, photos on website, run in a great spirit in every way - and unbelievably, it won't cost you a penny!

In short: well-organised but informal and friendly in a great location
In full: A great run in the park next to London Zoo. Worth doing just for the Hub - a bizarre Tellytubby style changing area. Informal but very well organised. Races on Saturdays are a bonus for Sunday club runners.

In short: Challenging course but great venue
In full: Great to be able to run at Crystal Palace stadium - and to see Daley Thompson involved - but water should have been available
