In short: From a first timer: thaks - a great day out
In full: I was told that this is a good race, and I was not disapointed. This is what local weekend racing is all about, and if you want to make that transition from the "novelty event 20,000 runner circus" to a proper race, you could do a lot worse than come to Tadley. Great atmosphere, great course.

In short: All it's made up to be
In full: A great race. A smattering of club friends, but totally great for beginners. Zero cars makes up for the gravelly surface, and stunning scenery. You have to do this race!

In short: Lordshill RR put on top race again
In full: Once again this was an excellent race, well done Lordshill. Despite running through mud in my best road racing shoes (!) and some 5 inch deep puddles, I enjoyed this race as much as ever. The start/finish car park is an excellent area to congregate and adds tothe atmosphere of the race.

In short: Wet 'n' Wild!
In full: Never done this one before, but would do it again. The organisation is fantastic. I can see what people mean by the dour marshalls, but full marks to them for turning out on a day as wet as today, as well as the few families that did, but cheered everyone.

Well done Alton Runners, Round Table and local services!

In short: This race never fails to deliver. 2007 no exception
In full: Great race as usual. Being HRRL gives it an edge. Did anyone mention the heat? My car thermometer said 31 degrees after the race.

In short: Did anyone mention the wind?
In full: Well done Portsmouth for a great race, well organised, and a great track start and finish. Shame about the flooded paths and strong winds, but I'm glad I did it and will be back.

This seems to have been the best attended HRRL so far too - well done for that.

In short: 2nd time that I've been - even better than last year.
In full: Well done to the organisers - you've cracked it!! This is a bl dy fantastic race I love it and put it in my top 5 (and I do about 40 races a year).

I laughed when I got to the place where I got lost last year (I missed the right turn through the staggered gaste just as you leave the Dorking Road). There were 2 MASSIVE arrows there - fantastic! Didn't miss it this year.

In short: This race never disapoints - it's a cracker
In full: This is a fast race and it's very well organised. It suffers from the Sunday Morning Driver a little, but just ignore them - they go away after a few minutes! The organisation, as always, was impecable, the stadium start and finish is superb.

Oh, and a pb doesn't exactly spoil the day either. See you again, Abingdon!

In short: Wow - scenery to beat New Forest and without the killer jills too!
In full: First time I've done this race - the scenery took me by surprise! No one told me it was that pretty... Great organisation, good value, good atmosphere. Well done Hardley
