In short: If looking for a fast time a good solid race with no frills, but did have one negative today, see below. In full: Usually there are pens / marker boards for runners to stand at... all the announcer stated was if you are elite stand at the front everyone else stand behind..... all well and good but when you have clearly got runners who are start out at a jog / hour pace they should know where to start or be directed to start futher back in relation to their time, esp club runners who should know better.... whinge over nad can we see pens / marker boards back for next year please (as may stand corrected but they have been used in the past at Eastleigh). Overall still a good race especially if you want a good time.... Date of review: March 25, 2012
In short: Another very well organised race, excellent marshalls, playful hills but still fast and one of the best designed T-Shirts for a long time, thanks you Salisbury for yet another great event. Date of review: March 12, 2012
In short: Seen better organisation and Brewery comes to mind..... Poor alll round today... In full: Fora UKA Bronze event should be better - Delays in starting..... only 1 person on combined late entries / on line entries.
Mile markers well out of position
Total confusion in the finish funnels... will be amazed if get the right result......
Very poor effort for the 65th anniversry race Im sorry to say Date of review: September 18, 2011
In short: It may sound daft, but this race is undulating at best, but for me is fast, with 2 fastest time over the distance in 1:26:xx... so it has the potential for speed In full: Well marshalled except for the water station at 5m... where only 1 person was giving out water... holding on to the cups so hard that when you took it, it immeadiatley split... whilst the other was busy filling up 100's of cups... needed at least another person.... if not 2.
Other than that no issues in a good club ran event, I like and am faster over undulating courses..... Date of review: August 28, 2011
In short: Well run muliple event, no real faults, stunning scenery, hills that make you ache, and dont expect a PB, thats for the 30K anyway which on the garmin was 19.39m.... a good trg run Date of review: August 14, 2011
In short: Superb organisation and marshalls, plenty of drinks stations, was just the agressive stones I didn't like esp the one that floored me at 8m.... good hard hilly race, I will be back. Date of review: July 24, 2011
