In short: Another good year for the Town and Gown.
In full: My local 10k and always worth taking part. Revised course was much less congested than last year - top marks for that. Water stations were a little understaffed but otherwise an excellent event. I got a PB, so I'm doubly happy.

In short: Challenging - but - beautiful - course
In full: One of the nicest courses you can do but watch out for the hills. I heard whimpering on one of them! Some excellent marshalls out there today - thanks you guys. Some more local support would have been nice, to go with the Jolly Pan-Tappers! Do have a go at this one, but be ready for the steep bits!

In short: Brilliant. I'm sore as hell and tickled pink.
In full: This race lives up to its expectations and them some. The toughest, most beatiful route and the friendliest marshalls and runners. If I hadn't been so tired I could have kissed someone when I cross the line. This really is an "It's Good To Be Alive" Race!

In short: Well-organised as ever. A good local race with good facilities.
In full: It won't be many people's all-time favourite race but it's well worth turning up for, as I have done for 3 years now. Not a flat course by any means, but vehicle traffic is pretty light on the whole. Downsides are the tedious slog along the A40 and the very crowded start. Well organised as ever, though. I'll be back.

In short: A grade-A, fur-lined, gold-plated belter. Go do.
In full: I can't recommend this race highly enough. It deserves every bit of its reputation. Atmosphere, organisation and support were top-class today. Thank you very much indeed to all the marshalls, stewards and organisers: you did a fab job. I hope they get a medal too!

In short: Nicely organised, well worth doing
In full: The big story of today for me was the strong winds, which I really struggled to run through. The event itself was smoothly run, however, and the route was mostly flat with little traffic to worry about. Personally I wasn't worried by the lack of mementos and souvenirs. The generous supply of bananas, drinks etc. at the end was very welcome, however. Nice touch that. Maybe not an event to love, but well worth pitching for. Given the right weather conditions, the route has big PB potential - but not today!

In short: Challenging route but about as beautiful as you can get
In full: Not an easy route, this, but a very rewarding race with a special atmosphere. The sort of race you could get hooked on. Friendly and smooth organisation from Woodstock Harriers, with great marshalls helping you through the rough spots. The finish was a little hard to spot - I nearly ran past it - and a starter pistol would have been nice, but no complaints from me. A great event, this, which deserves more participants. Don't let the hilly bits put you off this one!

In short: Suffered in the heat. Earlier start would have helped a little
In full: It's hard to separate the awful ordeal of running this (let's face it) very undulating course with no shade in crucifying heat from the fact that it was pretty well organised. I could have cried when the guy at the end gave me an ice lolly! Nice touch that. Bless all the marshalls and helpers who turned out, they deserve thanks. But I'm really not going to come back and face that course again in June!
