In short: It's a few years since my last Stockport 10, the hills seemed smaller last time. Stockport Harriers always hit the mark with their club races, well done again....

In short: Mostly flat run through muddy fields and a bit on roads. Not too tough....but you know you've been in a run at the finish. Lots of smiles....and one or two screams from the ladies stuck in the mud!!!

In short: Excellent turn out for a new race, I hope they do it again next year, loads of fun sliding along the trails.
In full: Felt like a mass participation race with the local radio station playing music and a warm up with an instructor, we even got chip timing. My wife had to help me with the goody bag there was that much in it. Nice medal and I even won a bottle of wine as a spot prize....first time that's happened to me. Congrats to the organisers on a job well done!

In short: Short flat race for everyone. So if you are thinking of trying a race for the first time this one is perfect and it's in aid of the Christie Cancer Research Charity.
