In short: Fast 5 Miler without the Fear of being Blown Out To Sea
In full: Excellect fast course that now that wind has been turned off! nearly yielded a PB good marshalling and plenty of room to run, well organised with easy access. The price is good but the momento is a little cheap. Overall a really good race that leaves you smiling.

In short: Wonderful Village Race
In full: I love this race, brilliantly organised, great marshalls, friendly locals and a beer tankard that has already been pressed into service. I would reccomend this run to anyone from first timer to racing snake.

In short: Very Hilly and Loads of Fun with the Sea at the Bottom
In full: A really fun event with plenty of ups and downs against the backdrop of the Jurassic Coast, the organisation is superb, good bag very generous and 1 very big hill.

In short: Enjoyable and Somehow Fast Thursday Jaunt
In full: I always enjoy this race immproving my PB each year, despite acourse that on the face of it isn't a fat course, too many twists and turns on ancient flag stones and cobbles this year in the wet. The usual gripes remain the marshalling isn't great but this year took another step forward, now all that is needed is a bit more chat from the marshalls around the cathederal to warn backmarkers/pedestrians that others are coming through and a better momento (or none at all). This is still a very special race and one I always enjoy.

In short: Excellent Hilly Off Road New Race
In full: This was so well organised you would never know it was the first running, the course was beautiful and excellently marked if very tough and muddy, fantastic marshalls at every turn who were really encouraging, excellent T-Shirt, enough toilets with very limited queues only once or twice, wonderful village feel that made everyone welcome, great sponsor who took part and really contributed, wonderful location along the river test taking in part of the test way and finally a lovely cup of tea and the best post race cakes ever! Also note there are some fine pubs nearby for a post race pint. This has gone straight on my race calender for next year.

In short: Good Fast 10Miler
In full: I really like this race despite not hitting my sub hour target, nothing really stood out about the race, the organination was OK, the value was OK but it has that X-Factor and I will be back. Thank you to the Organinsers

In short: Fantatistic Organisation and Very Fast
In full: The organisation is of the very highest order, including in no particular order; Traffic Free, spectators can see you at three point including start and finish, one lap, loads for spectators to do (swim, playground, free fitness expo, football to watch etc etc, results up before I'd finish my warm-down, good support, lovely t-shirts which you can collect before the race, active sponsor, excellent cake and so much more. A very fast course where I set my PB a while ago, just need to get back to that pace! the weather was perfect as well. Just a shame I decided to go to Ikea afterwards!

In short: It's the little things that make this race standout
In full: This was my first running of this event and I can't belive I've missed it int he past. Excellent race I'm glad it's now on the HRRl calender. All the big things are done well, information ahead of time etc., but it is the little things that make this race, the Marshalls holding the cups the right way to make collecting them on the run easy, arrows just when you needed them so you know your going the right way, easy access to the hall in the lesuire centre, and notice nobody has brought up too few toilets, that is a first!

In short: A well organised 2 lap 20 miles
In full: Most of the organistation is good and the marshalls are great but forgeting the sports drinks/getting the program wrong is a serious error that over 20miles causes serious issues for most runners. The course is hard but there again anything 20miles long is! mile markers are spot on. Genrally a good race

In short: Good Course, Good Atmosphere, Poor Organisation
In full: The facilities for changing at the start are OK and much appreciated on a cold and windy day. The organisation at the start was OK, not easy to work out where it was and a mad charge to get there so we could stay out of the wind as long as possible which is not the organisers fault as they started the race on time. The course itself is hilly and challenging especially into a strong wind but enjoyable and keeps your interest throughout. However I was at times running with just one other runner with no one else in sight and on 2 occasions there were turnings un-marshalled, now I inderstand not wanting to marshall on a cold windy sunday morning but a few extra would of been ideal. Once we got to the finish it was chaos the finish line had moved since the warm-up and the finish sign was obsructed making it impossible to work out a true finish time, I picked up a PB by 10secs but I'm not sure it really counts as the course could well be short, which is a dissapointment on probably my most expensive race of the year, if you include the ferry crossing.
