In short: Well organised. Excellent cheerful marshals
In full: Overall a really good event, bring a picnic and delay leaving, then there is no problem getting out. Can't be an all time favourite for me as there is too much road and no proper off road, I hate gravel tracks both for running and cycling! I would also prefer an earlier start to avoid the worst of the heat. Once again, the marshals and organisation were really good. I beat last years time, but some way off a pb. Will just have to come back next year!

In short: Friendly, well organised event
In full: The hills seem to get less every year! Seriously, compared to Longleat and Marwell this is not a particularly hilly course. Weather conditions were perfect for running, organisation excellent as usual, shame about not having chip timing this year. The only criticism I have is that the sound system was in the wrong place for the starter, couldn't hear a word he said!

In short: Great event
In full: Not as challenging as I expected, but as I was recovering from a cold, that was fine! Beautiful day, friendly runners and marshals, amazing scenery, what more could you ask for? OK a slightly less naff trophy, at least it can be used, so better than a medal.

In short: A very ordinary race on a very boring course. I thought parking was fine!

In short: Not enough mud!
In full: I preferred the mud last year, but the organisers can't control the weather. Everything else was excellent, happy friendly marshals make so much difference.I shall be back! The only complaints I heard were to do with the lack of small T shirts.

In short: Blue sky and sunshine always helps!
In full: A very pleasant low key event, would have had more atmosphere with more entrants, although the single track sections caused some bottlenecks. The route was better than I expected, although more tarmac than there should be on a multi terrain course.

In short: Organisation improved on last year, but still a bit to go, particularly at the price!

In short: Sorted out a lot of last years problems
In full: I think that someone must have read last years comments about the start, problem sorted this year and course spot on 10k. The only real criticism I have is that the marshals around the course could have looked less bored and taken an interest in what was going on! I had no problem with getting out, by the time I had changed there was no queue at all. I will be back next year.

In short: Pointless and expensive
In full: For a pound I could have had more challenge and excitement going on a hash! What a cheapskate set up, I hope the winners like their 6 pack of milk shakes. The section through the woods was fine, but all those pointless zig zags to make strange distance of about 10.7k were very boring. At least the Christmas pudding was cheerful and pleasant as were most of the runners, although my running companion was almost pushed into the river by one of the front runners.

In short: Hard Work!
In full: Only two real criticisms, main hill too close to the start, so no chance to get going. Marshall lacking at one key point, where I think most of the field went wrong and added some extra distance and a nasty section of main road. These sorts of things will always crop up in new events. Good atmosphere, beautiful scenery, could have done with more mud!
