In short: Even better than last year, and last year was pretty dam good.
In full: Spot on. Fantastic from start to finish, even knocked 12 minutes off last years time. The hills/undulations!! didn't seem as bad, but this time I knew what to expect. Big congratulations to the ten in ten runners, an achievement that make you feel quite humble...

In short: Much better than last year....
In full: Good organisation with regard to the busing in and back from the city centre. Not too sure about the 15 minute delay in starting the race! But overall, nice bag at the end, plently of water and miles better than last years event.

In short: Great Race
In full: Stunning scenery, even shades the Windermere Marathon which I thought would be impossible to beat. The Run though the forest route was ace...! Thought I was going to be cut up by a horse at one point which made things interesting. Hills were a killer for the run home. Definately put pay to my sub 4 goal.. Didn't think they would be a bother but they were. Only critism was, as with other races, I can't be doing with water out of cups. A very minute whinge about what was all in all a fantastic event.

In short: Undulating my a**e , bringing my crampons for the next one.
In full: First Marathon so not too sure if this could be beaten by any others,I doubt it. Overall it was fantastic, great organisation, marshalling, veiws etc. I could go on. Total satifaction on finishing. Personnally would of prefered a medal to a slate coaster but thats is just being picky on what was a fatastic race.

In short: enjoyable
In full: PB at 10 miles, but pulled calf muscle at 10.5! Anyone who saw the bald guy hobbling for the last 2.5 thats why. Good organisation with regard to busing to Sefton park and back.Would of liked to have seen more of the city and not so much of Sefton park. Will be back next year without the dodgey calf muscle hopefully....
