In short: Well organised, supportive marshalls and the wind provided a real challenge especially on the third lap.
In full: Enjoyed the challenge of the course. A well thought out course and quite scenic in places.

I really enjoyed the three laps - it certainly got me through the hilliest section through miles 20 - 23 into the teeth of the gale, because I knew that 23 - 26 miles was a downhill section without wind interference.

The relay added a bit of atmosphere to the event. It was a good motivating factor to overtake relay runners who had overtaken me at the start of their leg.

I'd rate it as an average marathon which doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't!

Well done to all those who organised the event.

In short: Very well organised on race day. Lovely flat scenic run.
In full: Positively chilly after Blackpool last year, but still too hot for me. Great support from marshalls and crowd. Regular water stations.
Definite PB potential on a better day. Well done to the race day organisers.

What was the expo all about? A real pain as we could only fly up on Saturday afternoon and then my envelope had my name and address on it. A second class stamp is somewhat cheaper than a taxi ride from the airport!

Entry fee was a complete rip off and yet the race still made a big loss? Something gone wrong somewhere. Perhaps the organisers and Edinburgh Council should get together for an economics lesson.

In short: Back for a second year, despit ehaving to leave at 6.30, so must say something about the race!
In full: Well organised. Lovely run. Well marshalled. No atmosphere apart from encouragement from the marshalls. The only drawback is that the finish is a long way from the start.

In short: There are still problems with the km markers! An enjoyable course. Price is a bit steep if you are not going on to the Safari Park.
