In short: Well organised, scenic, excellent.
In full: Can't ask for a more scenic run. Enough buses laid on, lots of water stops. One turn not signed so many people went wrong and joined back in later which is a black mark, apart from that no problems Tracks along the river pretty muddy in places but what can you expect, we were lucky to run at all.

In short: A nice low key club race, well organised and welcoming.
In full: Enjoyed this race again, no frills just a nice run through good countryside with lots of support and well organised. Shame about the car parking this year but just one of those things, at least they organised perfect weather. Don't expect lot's of goodies just a good friendly run. Oh yes and a hill!

In short: Wonderful organisation and quality course. Excellent but hard.
In full: Putting a hill like that in mile one is just cruel! Very wet, some big hills but lots of downs to make up for it. Picturesque, friendly race. For a small club to organise drinks and sponge stations every three miles plus all of the signs to spur us on with a quality trophy at the end is just superb. Probably my new favorite race. Would be magnificent without the rain but I suppose they didn't have time to organise that as well! Well done to all involved. How about a bourton flat half?

In short: Well organised, fast potential, endless concrete slab 6-9 miles.
In full: Winter gardens HQ excellent, efficient bag store, not enough toilets. Too hot for a really quick time. First half pretty good with lots to see but atmosphere flat, spectators seemed baffled. Miles 6-9 just seemed endless concrete slab, no breeze and no sign the turn around. From the turn to the end there was abit of a headwind and the odd undulation. Good medal and t-shirt. Great, enthusiastic marshalls and I like the fancy dress. They made a real effort, thanks. I enjoyed this race but I would not have fancied another lap.

In short: Second year, same weather, still a cracking race!
In full: Organisation, route and venue perfect. Narrow start but makes for a good warm up. Weather not as bad as forecast. I like this run. Well done to all involved. Hope to be back next year.

In short: Enjoyed it but fairly expensive.
In full: Against expectations I really did enjoy this one. I thought it too expensive but the organisation, drinks stations and support were excellent. More toilets needed at the start. Also needs predicted times in the start pen. Got a PB as the course is flatish. Rummers hill not as hard as expected going up but hard going down. I will probably put it in my diary for next year.

In short: generally well organised, fast, well supported.
In full: Third time of running, Loved the waterfall as I've never done an adventure race before. Good marshalls. The track around the golf course requires care. I didn't have a problem at the finish as I was a few minutes before but saw the results and it must heve been pretty annoying to be in it. Good medal and t-shirt. Bottle of water in bag was fine but on a day that hot more water needs putting on as an extra. Fruit much appreciated. Happy with taking 20 secs of of my pb. Like the race generally but can get congested.

In short: Very well organised, personal best potential.
In full: Queues for the toilets a problem and slow baggage reclaim otherwise brilliantly organised. Finally broke 1hr 40 in a half but the conditions were ideal. Shame some of the scenery is not more inspiring as Bath is a superb city but then it would be hillier I suppose. Good support along the route and a very special finish. Well done I'll be back.

In short: Nice route, hard hills, perfect weather
In full: Enjoyed it but not sure I'd come again, difficult to say why though, just a sense it's not quite right. Not a helpful feedback maybe but some races work for me and some don't. Against expectations I even got a PB. Also if you are going to have chip timing stop people running past in the finish tunnel to get scanned while other people are waiting. A small point but it p****d me off.Thats not why I'm not sure of this race though.
