In short: back again! anything for a bottle of stella
In full: well organised as usual and a good turnout. only minor gripes would be a very sharp turn, and the usual chaos around the water at the end. a few tweaks would sort these out and make it next to perfect.

In short: Allows you to race merthyr mawr without having to climb the big dipper!
In full: well organised out and back race. not pancake flat, but evens out overall. small enough to get into your stride early on, and a beer to finish!

In short: A fast one for the not so fast among us!
In full: Great organisation - marshalls were excellent and very encouraging. Fast course with a bit of variation - downhills not too steep, uphills not too long. Only gripe may be the start time - 9am on a sunday - i like my sleep!!

i'll be back for another go next year!

In short: Can someone turn off the wind machine?
In full: Well organised race as per usual - parking no probs, and good registration - lacks changing facilities though, which was a suprise.
course itself is fairly flat with a few short sharp climbs, most of which you also descend. only gripe would be the college students getting visions of grandeaur, and starting way too far forward, only for some to be walking within the first k and getting in the way - a quick message in assembly to start at the back would sort it out!

I'll be back!

In short: back for more next year
In full: well, the heatwave certainly didn't arrive, and that meant great fun sloshing around in the mud instead of sunburn for a change.
great race as usual, marshalls were incredibly cheerful when considering that they were standing in the rain for hours.
a couple of minor grumbles though - all on the pre race admin sides
1. no acknowledgement of entry recieved - an e mail to say "you're in, you mad fool" would suffice to ensure it wasn't a wasted journey.
2. spectators train tickets - it wasn't made clear that you had to pick up tickets from tent, and this meant rushing back from station to get them - previous years tickets were included in race pack.
3. no marshalls for parking area - had to drive round town looking for side streets

race itself can't be faulted - everyone should try it
