In short: Well Im afraid its the cardinal sin delayed start of half an hour made for a depressing beginingrt
In full: That said the race route was excellent well maeked ( mostly )Would have been better if a few more runners had turned up but thats mid week races i suppose. The roadworks around Gloucester didnt help its a nightmare at peak times ! Very nice goody bag with all the right stuff food drink etc. How about a t shirt from the sponsors next year ?

In short: Must be one of the best 10K routes in the South . Great atmosphere the organisation and marshalls were brilliant!
In full: One of the best 10k races Ive done. The route and varied terrain was excellent. Did anyone else experience the suspension bridge move up and down as we crossed! very strange feeling. All the marsalls I spoke to were were very helpful and cheerful. Had a great time thank you.

In short: Great race amongst the trees ! - well organised nice atmosphere
In full: This race is quite special mainly due to the fantastic location (the joy of running without fumes of traffic etc is great !) Tree sapling and wooden momento given to all finishers was a nice touch, did the winner get a larger specimen

In short: Very enjoyable race well organised with nice touches
In full: This year the route was reversed from 2007 which I found better, the few hills didnt seem so steep or long. Nice friendly atmosphere both runners and crowd! Good to have the large marquee to shelter in before the start. Good quality refreshments in the field after the race the WI cakes looked great! Will be back next year.

In short: exellent organisation much better than expected !
In full: Good facilities at the runners village area everything seemed to work well, nice happy marshalls and encouragement from the suprisingly small crowds on the route. The "goody bag" well its all been said and the T Shirt is of poor quality considering the £18 entry fee. Overall a good race with a nice atmosphere. Oh and great that runners kept to their coloured starting positions!

In short: Nice race good facilities at the start
In full: Well organised run. The very warm conditions were welcome but some runners had problems in the heat!
Nice to have the marshalls cheerig and encouraging along with the crowd (thanks)Would have been even better if Lacock road was closed to traffic for the race duation even if only one way, it got a bit congested especially when an ambulance needed to get to the finish area.

In short: Very well organised nice location with good facilities and friendly marshals
In full: Yes that hill is deceptive just when you think you have reached the top there are more inclines just arround the corner before the finish! Think I have chopped a few seconds off last years time under 40mins so well pleased!Shame about the section before the hill which seemed to have loads of traffic, why couldnt the horse box owners and sports car enthusiasts wait to let us go by before they crused up and down that section got several nice lung fulls of carbon monoxide just at that critical time. Hey ho! nice race hope to be back next year

In short: Nice race well worth the trip. Very well organised with pleasant marshalls
In full: The hill at 2k was a bit of a struggle so early on but the long down hill made up for it. Generally a nice race with excellent parking arrangements and toilet facilities.

In short: again an exellent race helped greatly by the magnificent weathe!r
In full: I like the idea of the series race ( 3 split from November, January & February )The organisation is first class and the chip timing gives instant access to your finish time. Thanks to the young lady( with the three lurchers ) who gave incouragement which helped towards a minute off the last race. Will be back next time!
