In short: Good single lap course very well marshalled.
In full: Congratulations to Bedford Harriers on a superbly organized and marshalled race. It makes a big difference to race to have a lot of marshalls enthusiastically clapping as you go round particularly when its tipping down.

Pluses
- marshalling
- pre race info and map
- 1 lap no out and back or multi lap
- nice to have the last few miles downhill

Negs
- calendar is nice but I like to have a medal, the bigger the better.

In short: Old school 10 mile XC with free tea and scones back at the clubhouse.
In full: Tough course across fields, paths and plenty of hills. Yesterdays rain made for a very muddy run which made keeping your feet hard at times.
I wish i had invested in at least some trail shoes but many wore spikes. It was quite clubby which was a good thing as the organizer do ot want to be stuck out on top of a hill for much past 90 mins. Highly recommended.

In short: Well organized, dead flat
In full: Thank god for chip timing as my watch said 40.01 but the chip said 39.59. You can't argue with technology when it achieves your first sub 40. Well organized , they made an effort to get the fast runners at the front. This sounds like common sense but few races bother. The heavy wind made for interesting pacing.

In short: Very well organized and marshalled set in one of London's nicest parks.
In full: +'s

nice location
cheerful marshalls and plenty of them
good atmosphere
flattish
great organisation

3 laps means that you do end up passing slower runners pretty soon on some narrow pavements. Also roadworks meant a bit of dodging of bollards and signs.

In short: For a chance to race in Richmond Park you should do this event.
In full: First multi-sport event and it a success. I'd definitely do it again. There are few events in Richmond Park so take your chance and run in one of London's gems. This event caters for all level, whilst there are guys cycling on £5k bikes there are much more on mountain bikes.

In short: Hats off to the organisors for a very good race.
In full: Everything a race should be, great facilities at HQ, decent number of runners, scenery, traffic free, marshalls who clap and seem to want to be there, sponges at the drinks stations, medal and a Mars bar. Many thanks.

In short: fast well organized race
In full: Congratulation to the organizers for a well run race. It seems a shame that being so close to Richmond Park that wasn't used as the venue. I'm sure theres a good reason.
