A lovely setting in Kirkstall Abbey and a nce bottle of local ale to all finishers. Most people from my running club seemed to prefer this to the 10k road race. Well done and thank you to Kirkstall Harriers Date of review: September 22, 2008

In short: Absolutley fantastic. Tough and wet but a must do race, oh and have I said ABSOLUTLEY FANTASTIC In full: I was dubious of this race as never run that far on multi terrain before and in the mud but i really enjoyed it, still smiling even now. Great atmosphere and organisation with something for everyone. Loads of drinks stations and brilliant marshalls, friendly runners and the support and cheers from the train were amazing. Cant wait until next year. Thanks to George the race organiser and all the marshalls, supporters and Tywyn residents Date of review: August 19, 2008

Great support, well organised. Nice mix of road and off road but a very hot day. Great race for the kiddies as well in the park and the 2 mile fun run. BRILIANT Date of review: July 29, 2008

In short: A bit harder, hillier and hotter than expected In full: A great race although quite undulating. Fantastic scenery, marshalls and support and very well organised. In short: Great atmosphere, a true 'run for all', a good tribute to an amazing woman In full: Loved this race as much ths year as last. Excellent organisation and atmosphere throughout. Only problem was I was too far back to hear what was going on at the start. There was a couple of bottlenecks at the start and at the turnaround point on Meanwood Road but nobody seemed to mind. I still managed to improve my time from last year. Even the sun made an appearance again. Well done and thanks to Mike & family and all organisers and volunteers Date of review: July 4, 2008

2008 Humber Bridge Half Marathon

In short: Loved the race, the atmosphere and the bridge In full: This was a fantastic race. The bridge is spectacular (however i'm sure it was longer on the way back than it was on the way out). The atmosphere and the support along the route was brilliant. Water in cups not a problem as there was plenty of water stations and I tend to think people take a couple of mouthfuls and then throw it away whether it is in a cup or a bottle. Organisation was good at start and at finish. Car parking no problem. Few more toilets would be good. Excellent, well done to rotary club and all involved, I will definitely be back next year Date of review: July 4, 2008
