In short: Excellent marshalling, very well organised. Killer last six miles.
In full: Not quite as flat as I thought it would be but no big problems. Excellent organisation with water and energy drinks at short intervals. I ran into trouble in the last four miles and there were marshals on bikes checking I was okay and giving me drinks. Thanks!

In short: Fast and flat with good organisation
In full: My only gripe is the lack of toilets. Other than that, great event I will keep coming back to.

In short: Great course, lots of uphills kept it interesting and several nice downhills keep the speed up
In full: Marshalling was enthusiastic as usual. It was good to see the cars being stopped at the road crossing where in previous years it has been a bit haphazzard.
It was also good to see that the organisers had a baggage drop this year. It was a little chaotic but I got my rucksack without any problem.
Only odd thing is that we seemed to surprise the water stations several times. They were busy pouring water but none was ready.

This is an excellent race that I look forward to every year.

In short: Great course, brilliant organisation, excellent marshalls, as usual!
In full: Every time I run this race I love it more. It feels like it should be a slow race with the number of sharp inclines but I always get a good time so there must be lots of downhill. It is very well organised, especially given the large number of competitors. The marshalls are a cheery lot shouting encouragement.

Watford Harriers must have some kind of special deal with someone important. Every year the weather is great and today was no exception. Pleasant sun and nice and crisp. It was windy but the course is pretty sheltered so it was never a problem.

In short: Dragging the xmas podge up the hills makes this a challenge. Very well organised.
In full: This course always seems harder than it should coming at the end of the festive period. It felt like hard going until mile 5 for me when my body finally woke up. There are a lot of uphills for the first 5.5 miles, nothing too steep, but it makes you work. It feels good when the gradient gets a little shallower in the last half of the race.

Good organisation, loads of great marshalls, every one of which shouted encouragement. The three ladies just before the mile 9 marker were even doing some kind of dance.

Getting there early and then waiting an hour was a bit of a pain but I appreciate that the organisers wanted to make sure everybody got their chip sorted.

In short: Undulating course made it interesting. Fantastic marshals!
In full: It was very cold and wet but this was still an enjoyable race thanks to some interesting climbs. Big thanks to the marshals who spent their Sunday morning standing in the freezing rain cheering and clapping us on.

In short: Nice to run point to point for a change.
In full: Another decent run from Purple Patch. Much better marshalling than at the Thames Towpath in the summer. Although it was 90% flat along the towpath the steep ramps under every bridge made it interesting. Could have done with more toilets at the start.

In short: Very enjoyable. Distance was good and the hills made it interesting.
In full: I will be doing this one again!

Well marshalled and friendly. I couldn't believe they got that rock band under the bridge! It was a nice run in the country and the hills were gentler than I had expected.

It was a bit tricky finding the start and somewhere to park.
