In short: Superb race - now a permanent fixture on our race calendar
In full: A great fun festive run along the beach. A pancake flat course with bags of PB potential, an excellent way to finish the year!

In short: Good first time marathon
In full: A good route once we got out of Leicester, good support through the villages, good supportive marshals all along the the route, plenty of well spaced drinks stations with gels and Hi-5 the only negative was the total lack of atmosphere at the start and finish. Well organised but I dont think I'll bother going back next year!

In short: SUPERB!!
In full: First rate organisation, great flat course taking in some of the local Wiltshire countryside. Good support on route, first class marshalling, no traffic problems, good well spaced water stations, super quick down hill finish. This has to be one of the best club run events in the country!

In short: A great way to spend a sunday morning
In full: Thanks to all at the PVRC this was a great 10k through some quite country lanes. Course was well marked and well marshalled with some of the marshals calling out your time as you went past - nice touch. As mentioned before we dont all need a t-shirt or medal to let us know when we have just run an enjoyable small club race! Well done PVRC for concentrating on a local charity.

In short: A good fast half
In full: A nice flat course to get a PB.
Car parking excellent right next to the start, chip collection no problems, plenty of marshals, clear mile markers, well manned water stations, good finish in a field with plenty of space for family and spectators. I had no problems with dodging traffic.

Thoroughly enjoyed this race.

In short: Great undulating race
In full: a very enjoyable race, great atmosphere with good support on route. the route was a mixture of town and countryside with a nice little hill at the 9k mark, the only negative was the bottleneck at the start caused by too many slow runners at the front

In short: Challenging cross country run
In full: I really enjoyed running this again, wonderful scenic route around the Bowood estate. Plenty of ups and downs over rugged tracks and terrrain that sap the energy from your legs.
Like last year though the course is short of 10k my garmin measured it at 5.74 miles and my time was testimony to this as it 2 mins quicker than my PB for this distance.

In short: well organised with great support on route and a fanatastic stadium finish
In full: I could not fault the organisation of this race, good marshalling and well manned water stations.
The course itself is a little dull with nothing to see but shops and houses but that said the support on route was great - free beer at one pub!
The staium finsh was the perfect end to a very enjoyable race.
All that and easy hassle free parking always a bonus!

In short: A hilly start with a flat finish
In full: A good race for all abilities. The first k out into the wiltshire countryside is down hill, (which I ran too quickly!), but the second is all uphill (a big hill) it then undulates untill the six k marker after which it is flat and a little dull as your running around a housing estate.
Excellent marshalling but it is a shame it doesnt take around the more scenic parts of Devizes.
