In short: another well organised race by EVH
In full: great race, well marshaled. great crowd support in all the right places. big hill at 2km mark did not stop this being a fast course as lots of PBs on the night testify. Free massage, a good technical t-shirt and a bar to celebrate those PB. it cannot be bad!! Well done EVH, keep up the good work

In short: hard as nails course but excellently organised
In full: thanks to Stephen Smith for organising an excellent race. The marshals were are in the right place, giving plenty of encouragement. we are knew the course was hard. the technical t-shirt given out said it all, 'i survived the Saltash Half'. great goody bag given out. i am very proud to be a member of the Tamar Trotters.

In short: hot, hot, hot, but amazing...
In full: another great year, 10,000 people helping 37,500 people achieve their dreams whether that it to get a PB, raise money or do the impossible. all putting themselves out to do their bit. a massive thank you to all that marshaled, gave out water, handed back bags and lots of others who love it just as much. the crowds were amazing again.

In short: a good race to assess where you are for London
In full: a few changes had been made to the course, these made the course good with some excellent crowd support around the town. the back lanes are always quiet but this makes runners work harder to get round. marshals did another great job, friendly and allowed the race to flow really well. the new start line was better, easier access hopefully for everyone. Cannot think of any negatives. thanks once again.

In short: what a finish.....
In full: i knew it would be tough (i ran the half)...but well organised, good encouragements from spectators and marshalls alike. enough drinks stations, lovely views and a great downhill finish and what a place to finish, by the domes. only minor issue was the goody bag or lack of anything in it. i dont do races for them but it could have been better...but apart from that, i had a great race and glad i did it

In short: good organisation but not overly impressed by course
In full: getting into the start was easy. i was at the front of Wave 1 and its was quick with no problems. i was quickly into my chosen pace. the water stations were good, all in the right places and we had the options of energy drinks, not often seen at halves. the weather was out of our hands but good for distance running. my gripe is with the course route. there were too many twists and turns, especially in the final 3-4 miles, not good when the body is tiring. i disliked the section of cobbles especially as they were damp underfootand not good for keeping your pace going. the finish line team were good and very encouraging with plenty of 'well dones' heard.overall, lots of potential but need to think of the route.

In short: well organised run
In full: fast course with some very good athletes at sharp end...very friendly reception from host club (Yeovil running club). nice chocolate egg to scoff afterwards..only negative point was the shower area that was crowded with gym equipment that the royal navy should have tidied up! thanks to marshals who turned out on a bank holiday to ensure that this race was safely managed.
