In short: Great Race but too many bottlenecks
In full: This is my second year taking part, I was hoping for a sub 70 minute run until I saw which wave I was in. I was in the last wave and spent the entire race trying to get past people and once in more open space I would then hit the rear of the wave infront. The atmosphere and crowds were great but my start position spoilt it for me. The medal is the same as last years!!!

In short: Worth getting up for!
In full: My first time running this event and was pleased I did. Was disappointed at not getting a goody bag despite finnishing well inside 45 minutes!

My other gripe was why not stagger the start? with chip timing this should not be an issue. I spent the first 3 k either being stuck behind slower runners on narrow paths or having to run in the busy road to pass.

In short: Well organised and cheerful event
In full: This is a flat 6 lap race with some pleasant scenery by the Grand Union Canal. Plenty of runners with varying ability. It could do with Chip Timing as many people and you know who you are! did less than 6 laps but were recorded as completing the course.
