In short: Well organised again.
In full: Not a PB course due to the hills and the (bit of a) wind made it even less likely.

Well organised again. It would have been nice if the tee-shirt had the year on it.

In short: Could be a pb course, except for.....
In full: those steps. For me they completely threw any rhythm that I had built up.

That said, well run and marshalled. A definite for next year.

Hopefully we WILL get the t-shirts sent on to us.

In short: Yes the toilets!!
In full: Overall it was well organised and it would be difficult to fault the marshals and police for making the actual race run well.

However three things let it down,
1) those toilets - not for the faint hearted.
2) the first water station was just as you came around a sharp corner with, as far as I could see no notice of it - was there really only one table there? I wasn't sure as I was on the wrong side of the road and so missed it. I was though glad of the second water station, for this one I luckily was on the right side of the road.
3) the kilometre markers - one or two were nowhere near correct.

In short: Another success for Southport and Waterloo
In full: Well run and marshalled.

A flat course which could be a PB.

Nice momento.

In short: 5 miles with wind behind then 5 miles wind against
In full: I found it a struggle running the second five miles with the wind against and little respite. Hardly the organisers fault though!

Well marshalled and run mostly with a sea-view

In short: More hilly than I expected, otherwise enjoyable.
In full: Who was it decided to put that hill just after the 4 mile mark? Cruel!

Well worth doing though and overall an enyoable race.

In short: Hilly race - well worth the trip.
In full: I think they took pity on us at the start as we did not have to do that hill in one go, there was a diversion around a flat part to get your breath back.

Certainly challenging with even the small slope near the end seeming like a hill.

In short: Good race overall
In full: Second year I've done this and second year with everyone lining up before being told to move back. A simple sign with 'START'on it would remove the necessity for this shuffling.

Above a tiny complaint as otherwise race well organised.

In short: I echo what Flatters has already said.
In full: I even found some of the slight downward slopes between the hills a struggle, never gave me time to recover.

And I certainly agree about the strobing effect on the sun through the fence, I was glad when that ended.
