In short: Usual fun and games with organisation. Had to call to confirm i was in and collect number on day. All good once I was there though. No complaints and a good time

In short: Enjoyed this. 3rd I've done now and its getting better
In full: First of all I got a PB so happy, don't know how as much better prepared last year. All the more satisfying as its mostly undulating. I enjoy the nature of this course with its challenging first half and enjoyable downhill return before the sting in the tail. I suspect they have shallowed the ascent of the final hill after all the reviewer comments. Can't complain about organisation and marshalls all cheery too. I did like the t-shirt this year too.

In short: It's very good! Flat, fast, and suberbly organised
In full: Organised so well it rang like clockwork. Increadibly well marshalled. Congratulations to all involved, I'd buy you all a drink but don't think I have that much money. Great course, quite scenic considering the lack of hills and so fast I knocked spots of my PB. The lack of snow, cold wind, rain also helped.

In short: Enjoyed this. Not your average town run and quite a fast course.
In full: A blast along the river and then through Rowntree park before crossing the millennium bridge and back along the other bank of the ouse. I'll be back.

In short: Excellent event, well organised, great goody bag/t-shirt, good mildly challenging but still fast course
In full: Even better organisation than last year and decent and different goody bag. Wicking t-shirt (all sizes including XS!) is an excllent touch as well. Good road course with some long steady climbs/decents as well as some challenging undulations. Nearly a PB despite these

In short: Excellent off road event, not one for PBs but more fun than a flat road course

In short: Excellent event, better organised than any I've ran before
In full: Great flat but scenic and interesting course. Definate PB potential if your training has been good (unlike mine). A nice different to the norm memento too.

In short: No major problems with organisation, great route, good crowd support, organised marshalling
In full: Like last year a great race but the cooler conditions made it more bearable. Set a new PW but was the first 10k I've ever run with a groin strain. Last years reward was a woolly hat in anticipation of the cooler conditions this year, soo... the sunglasses must mean were in for a scorcha in 2006. See you all there!

In short: Great race. Seem to have sorted the traffic nightmares out this year.
In full: Great course, especially the first 3k and the finish. Well organised this year, due to championchip timing they've done away with registration and traffic must have been ok as race started on time. Great mix of competitors including a few costumed.

Only one negative and that was the kilometre markings. At a fairly consistent pace I supposedly ran two km in less than 3.30 and several in over 5 minutes. These markings are especially annoying when the last km seemed so long - took me 5.42. If your taking your running seriously it really ruins your pacing.

Well done Lincoln. If not for the kilometre markings it was a great race.
