In short: Different kind of course, nasty hill at 1.5 miles
In full: Quite enjoyed the course, bit awkward doing the loops of the go kart track, needed sharp elbows! As a fellow organise in another county I think the prize list could be bigger, and people should be in their own categories, ie M55s should be down as M55, not M50s etc. M70s were listed as M60. Just a small beef which makes it awkward for Athletics Weekly stats etc. Hope to run it again next year.

In short: Good course, pity about the wind
In full: Very well organised, good goody bag at the end, well marshalled, I travelled 160 miles in total to take part, as it was a Masters Champs, pity about the wind, but worse at Horwich 5K last week!
My only gripe is lack of gun and chip times, I started on the front line, as I expected this with the timing system in use, my wife took 15 seconds to cross the start, so going by her watch time! Also lots of the categories are in 10 year batches, I am in the 55+ group, but unable to get my position in my age group, difficult for the statisticians too.
Good to see the results out early too, I organise many races and realise how important this is to runners.

In short: PB potential, good facilities
In full: Not the best of courses, but with over 300 runners the sea front would not be possible with many walkers dogs etc around. Turkey Trot on Boxing Day was a bit of a problem down there with 110 runners, having to duck and weave around promenaders!
Finish was better than last year. Somebody mentioned more markers in last mile, how many do you want, do you want it in 100 metre splits?
Well done to Roy and the gang, it all came good, nice facilites, showers, beer etc too:-)

In short: PB potential
In full: Potentially a good race and PB territory, need to iron out a few thing first.
Nobody seemed to know were start/finish was, lack of signs from car park meant a lot of wandering around, cars on course could have been a hazard.
Open prize winners also taking vets prizes too, states on entry form one prize only.

In short: My 1st Worksop, well done to all
In full: I have been running 26 years and organising races for 20+, this race was brilliantly organised, no flaws whatsoever. nearby free parking, good facilities in Town Hall, good race number collection area, and T shirt collection smooth.
Good to have a traffic free course too.
Well done to all.

In short: Not sure if I would do it again.
In full: For me big races equal big hassle, having to be there at 9.30 to beat the rush, the A15 entry to Lincoln caused some problems as closed well before 9.30. Others have mentioned about numbers not arriving etc, I rang for a day and a half without a reply, perhaps a dedicated e-mail address, just for emergencies could be handy.
Start was Ok for me, got in the elite section, some bumping and barging, but managed to get running OK.
Route well marshalled and safe, good to have no traffic.
Lage water bottles on route were a tripping hazard, 0.25 size bottles would have been more tha adequate.
Finish area, I was sub 40, so not masses there yet, never saw the space blankets, but spotted the medals OK.
Narrow way out from the grounds very awkward and congested.
Long walk back as has been previously said, difficult what to do about this to keep the finish at the Castle Grounds. Weather held out, but if you did not have someone at the end with your gear, it could be a cold walk back.
I parked at the rear of the Leisure Centre off Burton Road, got away early, as I forsaw lots of problems getting out.
Perhaps the time will come to limit numbers?
