In short: Good race, if a little congested, and very satisfying, despite the rain!
In full: My second visit to my local race and I'll be back. Thanks to all those marshalls and helpers who made it possible, and stood out in the pouring raing. It was one of those days when it was probably better to be running than marshalling/watching!

In short: Friendly race, splendid setting, challenging route
In full: You couldn't pick a nicer spot for a race than the grounds of Blenheim Palace, but you've got to be ready for the short sharp gradients on the way round. Still, a very friendly event that deserves more than it's "fun run" status, as well as being a good race for running newbies. The start was a little bit chaotic, and late, but aren't they always? Enjoyed this one and will be back.

In short: back for a 2nd year - another belter, and the new PB to boot!
In full: Fantastic race, yet again, and one I think I'm going to have to do every year. Another PB for me, to finally beat the PB set here last year. Thanks and congratulations to everyone who made the event so enjoyable.

In short: My 2nd time, and I'll be back!
In full: Once again a good value race, well-organised and very friendly indeed, the marshalls and helpers-out were all brilliant. Thanks to all who made it possible

In short: I'd recommend this to anyone. Long live Abingdon Marathon!
In full: My first marathon and one I'll always remember. The organisation was excellent and the marshalls were plentiful, friendly and efficient. I hope they know what a good job they did - especially the 2 girls at 24 miles who gave me the severe roasting I needed to keep me on course for sub-hrs. I managed 3hr54, so thanks girls! An absolute corker all round.

In short: Good, friendly marshalling, well-organised. Great route (if you don't mind hills)
In full: A friendly event, with a picturesque route (never mind about the weather!) and some challenging hills.

In short: Great course, pretty and flat. Very enjoyable event.
In full: Lovely course, plenty of friendly marshalls and spectators. Cake stall at the end was a vision of loveliness!
