In short: great race, good course, super goody bag.
In full: What a goody bag, ok I'd heard it was good but that is an understatement, no wonder 600 people turned up for it this year.

The hills early on are not that bad.

On a personal note I got the pb, happy, but just missed the 6 minute average mile barrier, sad.

Overall super.

In short: Nice race, I should've been at FLM but have been injured this was much more fun..
In full: Good race, nice course, the hill just after 6k did for my target time tho, 9km marker a little out I think, but still happy with performance and everything else.

In short: I am complaining now. The results are wrong, it hasn't ruin my life or anything but it's just bad. (2006)

In short: Good race, tough course, but defo worth doing.
In full: I skimped on the quality this week so I was looking for a nice race to end the week on and this was the nearest to home.
I got there early and drove round the course once and wasn't convinced it was that tough.
There were no mile/km markers on the course so I was aiming at doing each of the three laps in 12:50 (38:30) but it wasn't long into it that I realised that the hills I'd driven up where far harder to run up than I'd thought, after going through the first lap in 13:15 I knew I wasn't going to get as good a time as I'd hoped for, but still thought a sub 40 was on the cards.
The second lap was so much harder than the first and I struggled round in 13.50.
On to the 3rd lap and I got my second wind and felt a lot more relaxed and was abled to work up the hills.
The finish is the steepest part of the course and I took it easy on the first 2 times, but for the last descent I threw caution to the wind and careered down the hill in to the finish nearly losing it a couple of times.
Finishing in 40.25 I have to say I was disapointed with my effort but can't fault the race it's self.
A tough course but traffic free, well marshalled and with excellent support. Organisation was good and the Christmas pud for the finishers was much bigger than I'd expected.
Overall a great race! Recommended!
