In short: Flat and fast
In full: Start and finish area much improved, well organised, aerobic warm up (if a little shrill), well marshalled, plenty of street parking, good atmosphere, decent t shirt, all in all a good morning out, congratulations to the organisers.

In short: Enjoyed the new course, even in the rain!
In full: Usual well organised race by Heanor RC. Plenty of very wet marshalls, plenty of parking, I much prefer the new course which has less traffic and is pleasantly undulating with nothing too steep or long and a nice downhill finish, thanks to all concerned.

In short: Up and down!
In full: Charming race in the countryside, well organised with Lancashire hotpot and tea for afters on a bright crisp morning, worth the journey despite the hills.

In short: First time race, first class organisation
In full: Agree with everything Steve Boyer says, excellent first time event which many other clubs and organisations would do well to emulate. Only small gripe was delayed start due to on the day entries - come on folks, get there a bit earlier! Hard course but great fun, well done to all involved at Stadium Runners.

In short: Shambles at the finish
In full: As a NT member I should stick up for this but they really do need some help organising this race as the finish was an absolute shambles (56 mins). There are now far too many runners for the 'organisation' to cope with especially as so many seemed to enter on the day. There was a queue to finish, a queue to have numbers recorded (so no chance whatsoever for an accurate record at all), a queue for water and yet another one for t shirts. It's not that there isn't the room as it's an excellent venue but there doesn't seem to be enough planning or thought going in to the finish area at all. Fortuneately the weather was good again so most seemed to take it in good spirit as opposed to having to queue in the rain but I won't be entering again unless numbers are limited, sorry NT!

In short: Ouch!
In full: I knew it was mistake playing football on the day before... I expected it to be hilly but not quite that hilly. A low key no frills trail race in a lovely area. Good venue, well marshalled and an easy enough start and finish but the bits in between were "fun". Unfortuneately I wasn't fit enough to do it justice so suffered the consequences but if you like a challenge, this is for you.

In short: Forest race with a difference
In full: Apologies for the advertised "10K" distance, it's nearer 7.5 miles but worth the effort in a hidden part of the forest. If you're tired of overpriced road races this is the one for you, difficult conditions underfoot but in glorious scenery makes you feel good and with a decent pair of socks as a momento well worth the trip. Give it a go.

In short: Well organised afternoon race
In full: Suspect the afternoon start is down to the regular car boot sale? Good easily accessible venue at Wetherby racecourse, nice route despite the A1, two pipers at half way to lift the spirits, well marshalled, well done to a relatively new club that deserves support.

In short: Ouch!
In full: Tummy problems distracted somewhat from the race! Well organised event on a multi surface course, conditions underfoot difficult as hard and rutted, slightly twisted a knee in one of the many holes in one of the cow fields, defo one to concentrate on, not a pb course but enthusiastically marshalled, not for beginners I would suggest but one to run for the experience. Next year? Probably, once the tummy has settled and calves stopped aching...

In short: Inoffensive flattish run in the rain
In full: Well marshalled so thanks to them for standing in the rain. Loads of parking, nice towel and flowers for the ladies. Well done Spectrum.
