In short: Great tough race with excellent organisation
In full: I did this race 2 years ago and only missed last year due to injury. Great people, well marshalled, beautiful route and cake. What more do you want?

In short: Tough, picturesque, well organised run
In full: I really enjoyed the race. A great course that was tough without being silly. Friendly organisers who congratulated me in person. Nice touch.

A small field was a little daunting for a novice like me. After mile 2, I ran the rest of the race with only seeing one other runner infront or behind me.

Shame we couldn't have get some sort of momento. A t-shirt or a medal maybe.

In short: Nice route and well organised
In full: A well organised race with plenty of the things you want - toilets, baggage store, changing rooms and bacon sandwhiches. One thing I didn't like was the callendar. I don't race that much and love getting meddals.

In short: Lovely views, well organised
In full: Despite the freezing, windly conditions, this was a great race. Very well organised, loads of friendly, encouraging marshalls. Nice course and not too many cars given most of it was on roads.

Minor personal gripe - not meaning to be ungreatful but a medal would have been better than a pen. I know other runners who do loads of races have tons of medals but for us less frequent racers, we look forward to medals.

In short: Great new addition to the race callendar
In full: Very interesting run which I really enjoyed. A little tough under foot but I'm a wimpy road running, not used to "off roading".

Really could do with some toilets at the start and at least one more water station. Agree that the medal needs to have the year on the medal itself but that's just me being picky.

The minutes silence was a nice touch but many people could not hear the loud speakers announcing it had begun and many people did not know it was going on so were chatting.

Other than that, a really well organised run especially as its the first one.

In short: A well organised popular run. Recommended.
In full: Thanks to the organisers. Really enjoyed the run. A nice, well organised run with really freindly marshalls, great medal and no hassle.

Was a little confused by the water station at 9km. Not sure what the point of that was. Better to have them at 3 and 7 or 4 and 8 I guess.

In short: Really good race
In full: This has become a fixture in my diary as has the October run. Its quick and efficently organised. They managed a lot of runners really well and the route is nice fast and well marshalled in the right places.

Its not the best supported but that doesn't bother me. It starts a little too early but I understand why as parking in Kingston for a 10am start would be next to impossible.

Two things I would change are that I would like to see a couple of loos half way around the course. I really needed one on the second lap and it spoilt me run. The other this is that I hate the mugs but I seem to be in a minority.

In short: Good race, shame about the traffic
In full: I would definitely do the race again, mainly because it’s a good distance and time for FLM but it’s not my favourite. I don't like the 6 mile loop you have to do twice and I hated the traffic that built up. By 10am, there were lots of cars trying to pass and it became annoying. One girl had her water bottle knocked out of her hand by a wing mirror. The race could also do with at least one more water station.

On the up-side, good organisation at the start and finish. Plenty of toilets, friendly marshalls and a well marked course.

In short: Mud, hillys and lots of jelly babies
In full: Ok, there was a problem with 50+ people getting lost and doing 2 extra miles but that was just one of those things. Other than that, such a long XC course was well marshalled and signposted, lots of nice treats on route and all the tea you could drink at the end. Great race.
