In short: Enjoyable if somewhat undulating run.

In short: A well organised and picturesque race
In full: Very well organised and very enjoyable -especially if you take it steady over the first half of the race, as the second half is predominantly downhill.

One minor and curious criticism - Why was so much paper used for this race? My A4 entry form had an additional two pages attached and then the same stuff was mailed out with joining instructions. Perhaps there will be one less tree to run past in the Forest next year:-)

In short: Disappointed by accuracy of posted results and lack of detail.
In full: OK so I had a bad run, not helped by the hot weather, so that may jaundice my view somewhat. But when I find my time posted with a time 30seconds adrift of the bad time that I recorded I just wanted to go home! The posted results also didn't show name (luckily I remebered what my race number was) or club or category (which may have been a blessing that stopped me from being even more annoyed with my performance).

In short: Laps, laps and more congested laps!!!
In full: Enjoyed a good first lap and then hit traffic on lap 2,3,4,5,6,7 & 8!!! 1,500 runners don't spread out too far on a 1.25K lap which was probably nearer 1.1K as my 36minute clocking for the full 10K is an aspiration these days and no way was I running that quick especially given the congestion from other runners and commuters.
Oh and why did the organiser think that it would be a good idea to start the run at the top of a flight of steps!!!
Whinging aside, the support was great, very well marshalled, the atmosphere very friendly and everyone seemed to have a good time.

In short: Too many steps to get into stride, but great riverside views.
In full: As I crossed London Bridge I thought to myself that the route was supposed to go over Tower Bridge - perhaps if I had glanced to my left I would have seen the reason why. Good contingency on the part of the Organiser to reroute to a 5K with such short notice. But why so many steps - I hate steps and couldn't get into my stride. Never mind, an enjoyable enough run in the early evening sun though.

In short: Challenging course with the worst mile saved for last!!!
In full: An OK race from my perspective although I didn't enjoy the hill leading upto 3miles.
A marshalling error did send the 3rd to ~7th placed runners on a 1+ mile short-cut and had them coming in well before the two 'runaway leaders'.

Organisers a little slow in posting results of the 8-miler on their website.

In short: Great course & great organisation.
In full: A good course, which is just undulating enough to defy a PB but still enables some good times to be run.

Very well marshalled and lively atmosphere in the Fox beer garden afterwards.

In short: Good run with plenty to do for the family.
In full: It was a good run but could be made better by loosing the style and the kissing gate.

Well marshalled though and otherwise pretty flat if somewhat windy.
