In short: Well organised event, well marshalled with good local support.
In full: Enjoyed the run, and seeing my kids along the route three times was just the lift needed when the legs and lungs began to hurt. Quite pleased with time, although no PB. I seem to need hills for that! Shame there was no medal, although it was in a good cause. Look forward to next year.

In short: A rather dull twice round the block.
In full: The course is one of my training runs, so it was not the most interesting race for me. Very little support, apart from at the end, although managed to see my Dad three times round the course, not quite sure how he did that, must have been good use of the short cuts.

In short: Fairly quick course, although organisation at the start left a lot to be desired
In full: The start was very chaotic. Although I think the organisers were a bit taken aback by the numbers of entrants on the day, they should of had starting pens or time markers. Saying that why do idiots turn up at the start 30 seconds before the start! Nice to see David Bedford starting the race, although where was the old giffer at the end handing out the medals, presumably he'd got bored and found the nearest pub!

In short: Superb organisation, excellent facilities, testing course.
In full: Very well organised event. Didn't realise Essex was so mountainous!! The water stations were much needed on a hot day and well situated. Will definitely be doing next year.

In short: Well organised race through tricky winding paths. Great fun!
In full: Have never done this event before, can't wait for next year. Really have to concentrate on the winding paths and overtaking is tricky early on. Bluebells add a nice touch to the scenic feel. Well marshalled and good support throughout.

In short: Well organised fast race in ideal conditions
In full: Took 6 minutes off of PB so well chuffed. Good support from Marshalls and crowd around route. Only complaint, where was the start line?

In short: Good course.
In full: Could do with KM markers only real complaint. Nice to finish on the track, and good pair of socks, much better than the shrinking T-shirts
