In short: Better late than never
In full: After the enforced delay due to the weather I plodded along to this and duly put in a wheezy and red faced performance.

It's deceptively difficult to do the out and back route twice as it requires some mental fortitude.

Very well organised, with all the racing whippets done and dusted before us plodders got to the start.

In short: Icy Fun
In full: Club race so I knew what to expect.

Excellent fun, well done Denzil.

Shame the race meant 4 hours of gritting on Saturday.

Cheers.

In short: Enjoyed it
In full: First race in six months that I have enjoyed (due to injuries and lack of motivation), was quite a nice course through the deer park and woods of Attingham.

Have to agree with B'ham Snail though, the pond would be better as an option or with a rope. For the hardcore only on this one.

But I shall be bakc again.

In short: Blimey !
In full: Bloody Hell !
Even my Blisters have blisters to go with their blisters.
Did it as a walker in 8:40hrs.
Very hard.
But beautiful views over Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters.
If you can do it, do it.
If you can't, enjoy a nice cup of tea safe in the knowledge that you won't ever be as wet as me, or suffer blisters this big.
Ow !

In short: Excellent Fun
In full: Well worth doing.

A small freindly race in nice countryside, with a nice memento to the finishers.

In short: Excellent First Time Race
In full: Not much to add that other people haven't already said.

Put away your stopwatch, don some fancy dress and enjoy the fun with the crowds.

The best bit is turning the corner at around 4.5km and seeing the minster in all it's glory.

A fitting tribute to a British Heroine.

In short: Very Enjoyable
In full: Did the 20K as a walker with my dog (Brindle Lurcher), but probably should have done the 10K due to the heat.

Having read a few of the comments I can see where some people may have been frustrated with lack of signage, lots of Tarmac, and confusion.

However, after an incredible tough walk on Saturday (13.8 miles through South Shropshire - Very Hilly) which was self navigation I though this was a breeze.

I would recommend this race (all distances) to people, but ensure you allow time to stop & check directions etc. Don't expect a PB.

And if someone wishes you "Good Luck" when you pass, at least acknowledge them, not run pass with your nose in the air (Quite a few people like this today), although they where far outweighed but the majority who spoke to a lowly fat walker.

In short: Nice little race
In full: Very friendly good fun race.
I struggled with the fitness and consequently lumbered round in a 12month PW, but it's a good little race.
The downside is that it's a two lap course which I personally hate, but it wan't very demanding so is a nice one for beginners to try.
I come very very close to calling it quits at the halfway stage, but I'm gladd I struggled round.
Well done to the organisers.

In short: Very Well Organised
In full: As I said in the thread I struggled with my back but enjoyed the race.

The drinks stations were plenty and the scenary was pretty good.

Didn't really see those Steeples though, must have been looking in the wrong place.

In short: Ouch Ouch Ouch Ouch !!
In full: Excellent organisation from 2:09, just wish it had been a 10K.

Well worth doing as the scenary is superb (along with the organisation), the marshalls were very supportive and the other runners very encouraging to the plodding fat git at the back.

Not one to do for your first Marathon (Unless you are insane), but a must do in your race calendar.

Excellent.

Right, now where did I leave my legs ?
