In short: Hard work in the heat
In full: Great if very personally challenging race. Gave me a massive sense of achievement afterwards as nearly chickened out. Difficult on the soft grass in parts and agree about the point that the end was in sight then another gruelling 2.5 miles to go.
Thanks for great organisation, cool T shirt and goody bag. Dunno about the pink soap and the brown shampoo!

In short: Got a PB so got to be a good one
In full: Really enjoyed this race. The scenery was not brilliant but apart from that it was excellent and will be here next year. Brilliant organisation- thanks.

In short: Really enjoyed it
In full: So used to walking round Wakey shopping, or boozing- a bit surreal running down Westgate instead of pub crawling. Very very enjoyable- pity I did not crack my target of one hour, but getting there. Thanks to all who enjoyed it and for me it was special as was glad to support the hospice.

In short: Never mind my position- just chuffed to do it
In full: Excellent race, the hills and the wind are just there, so just got to go for it. I did.

In short: Hilly or what!
In full: Really enjoyed the race, but just far too hilly for me personally. Hope to be back next year, another 12 months experience under my belt, but right now, am shattered. Congratulations to all you guys who ran up the hills and for us lot at the back, thanks for all the support and camaraderie- much appreciated. Nice pint of Theakstones in the club house after!

In short: Shame about the mayhem at the end and no T shirts!
In full: My 2nd 10k, enjoyed it and improved my times, but the start and end were chaotic- missed my support team as they missed me cos of all the queueing. Despite booking very early, no T shirts left in my size.
When and how do we get the results, and how can they be anything like accurate. Am a total novice, but 5 mins makes a big difference, so dunno what the elite runners must be thinking? Is chip timing- like we had at Sandal Castle 10k too expensive or what?
Despite that, has not put me off and enjoyed the run, though not as much camaraderie as I expected.
