In short: This is an event that every marathon runner should do at least once
In full: An excellent event - no wonder it fills up so quickly. Simply a must do event.

Fast, flat course with plenty of parking, good facilities once you got to the starting & finishing areas. Cheerful & helpful marshals, excellent goodie bag, teas & coffees afterwards, hot showers & a good viewing area.

Thanks for a good event.

In short: Not the biggest Half Marathon in the World without a good reason.
In full: My 3rd GNR and still the same fantastic event. Now with the City Games & Expo makes for a whole weekend experience (More needed in the expo thou). The crowds were, as usual wonderful giving huge amounts of support from the front runners to the runners at the back. Goodie bag was interesting this year - Fajitas Seasoning Mix - love it. Even with the rain coming down it didn`t damper the GNR atmostsphere. See you next year.

In short: Very enjoyable event.
In full: Copied from last year - Well organised, enjoyable & very scenic race but should have left something in the tank for the second lap. Good route with lots of shade from the over hanging trees. Never seen so many marshals all giving encouragement. Plently of off-site parking. Good start & finish area - made use of the swimming pool. One for next year. Well done Burnham Joggers - good one."

Tried & tester event - excellent.

In short: Nice change to the normal weekly run
In full: Park as nice as usual. Course - and unsure about others but I made it a short but spot on otherwise. Markers easy to find which does make a differance. Nice change to the normal early week run and always good to run somewhere different. Low entry cost makes it a true bargin. Well done SLOW.

In short: Can I sign up for next year now?
In full: Set on an interesting course. Great support on & off the course. Wonderful facilities laid on - showers, food tent, massage etc. Huge area for camping. I will struggle to find a better event this year. Well done on an excellent event. Thanks

In short: A good mid-week event
In full: A good mid-week event. Good challenging route with a good mixture of flats, downhills sections & a couple of hills thrown in. Good event & always good. Thanks.

In short: What an opening mile !!!
In full: One of the hardest starts around but from one and half miles it`s relatively downhill. Great starting and finishing venue - plenty of free parking. Excellent value - I cannot remember a goodie bag like that for that entry price. Water stations in the right place & spot on with the numbers. Helpful & cheerful marshals. Good support from spectators. Highly recommended. Well done to Handy Cross Runners for an excellent event.

In short: Lived up the "Tough but rewarding` heading
In full: A gem of an event. Set on a challenging course but so rewarding afterwards. Can enter on the day BUT if I was to enter again I would want to make sure I had a number and enter beforehand. Loads of marshalls & the water / sponge stops were exactly where we needed them. Good finish. Very good mementos (well done to the organistors to send any to those who missed out). Great event - if you have the chance then enter. Many thanks for your hard work.

In short: One event not to be missed
In full: It`s a great event with nice scenery, loads of cheerful marshals, fast enough at the sharp end of things, fun runs to keep you busy if you are watching, plenty of parking, space & time to stay on afterwards, nice horse brass but it does get hot thou.

Well done New Forest Runners.

In short: For me and so far it`s the best event of the year...
In full: Excellent event. Yes it was tough going out there & yes you could not really run much from 16-19 but I forgot all that from 21 onwards.

Wonderful support from all of the marshals. So many water stations. Top race for scenery. Even saw Sammy the Seal sunbathing by the point.

North Devon did themselves proud.

Well done.
