In full: always enjoy this race, very undulating. crossing the golf course a golf ball passed between the line of runners at head height obviously we were holding play up. Not the orgaisers fault, wherever you run you always get one thicky local. recomend this race, will run again in 2014.. Date of review: November 17, 2013
In full: ran todays race, rain stopped sun came out a beautiful warm morrning. if you want a run which doesn't have the words brutal or killer in the title this is for you. A nice park run at your own pace. Date of review: October 20, 2013
In full: A wet & windy day, you allways see runners & organisers at their best on days like this. A quite flat muddy course, potentialy a very quick race on a dry day, nice marshall's enjoyable event. rain or shine will run again in 2014... Date of review: October 13, 2013
In full: ran the 8 mile race, sinage a little vague. but still a great run, dont let the on the day entry fee put you off,its worth it. well organised & a good mix of runners, will run again in 2014. Date of review: October 6, 2013
In full: a well organised event combining the duathlon & other races. the organisers managed to run these events side by side without any problems well done. As these events did cross paths at least at one point i can understand the reason for a ban on headphones for the safty of all participants. one runner near me was politly asked by a marshal to run with just one earphone, he refused and showed a boorish arrogance to the request. to that bloke and others please remember these people are volunteers without them there would be no race. In full: well run event, very undulating. some found it a bit tough, but worth having a go as the marshal's were nice and the track finish was fun. hope to run this one again. Date of review: September 16, 2013
In full: run this race before, hilly but not extreme. enjoyed the run, half a mile from home took wrong route with a number of others,no sign no marshal. we reached finish coming from oppsite direction to other finishers. as the bulk of runners had finished organisers diddnt seem bothered..
