In short: Ouch
In full: The second time I've done this 10 miler and by god does it hurt, there are three big hills and lots of small ones that make pacing a nightmare. Its reasonably well organised but they did seem to be caught out by the numbers even thought was a Hants Road Race League Fixture. However I really do like this race, and as Blackers says its a real day out and I got another PB this year, weird!

In short: Good Race as Usual
In full: No complaints apart from the wind, but can't blame anyone for that. Well marshalled and organised race with good facilities.

In short: Proper XC Race
In full: Firts time at Tadley but really enjoyed it, I like proper XC races and this had it all hills, mud, streams, fields and woods. Will be back next year, though might go a bit longer on the spike length.

In short: OK race but could be alot better
In full: The only real thing going for this event is the PB but last two years the wind has killed that. The Mountbatten Centre is a bit of a dump now, a complete rabbit warren and parking a problem. Hopefully there will be better facilities when the extension is finished. PS Why no clear finish, and why no clock on the line?

In short: Good well organised race
In full: Whilst theoretically this is the first rating the race was called Hardley A Half. Well organised as always , now with chip timing though ot sure it's necessary. Not normally a PB course for me but took over 3 mins off and smashed the 1' 30" barrier. PS - can we sort out the 3 and 12 mile markers next year though.

In short: Excellent New Forest Marathon
In full: Another Excellent New Forest Marathon
In full: Earlier Marathon start meant that there was less traffic, but it is still a problem dealt with well by the excellent marshalls. Good scenic course but the term undulating sums up this course always up or down. I'll be back.

In short: Better than last year
In full: Well the marshalling was a better than last year and echo comments on it not being very good value for money. Still if you can dodge all the bollards and pedestrians it is for some reason a quikish course.

In short: Love it, though I'm sure the hills are getting harder.
In full: Third year in a row for this race for me and I can still say it's one of the best races around. God though it was hard, especially this year with temperatures in the mid twenties. The hills and the temperatures and the twists and turns and the mad downhills meant that there are bits of my ego all over the last 10km. Marshalls, organisers, superb, big pat on the back to you all. See you all next year.
