In short: Fantastic Race: Mud, Sun and Views
In full: This is a great race, the best on the calender, from the fast downhill start across the mud toppped hills with views stretching across Hampshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire and even the Ridgeway in Oxfordshire, including highlights such as Highclere Castle, Watership Down and Didcot Power Station! Through the leg crumbling Ladle hill climb to the last five miles which the mind says are downhill but your body no longer cares. This race is definitly PB material as how often do you race 16.1 Miles? The organisation is suberb from the police escorted bus to the start to the tea and cakes at the end, a big thank you to the marshals.

In short: Excellent mix makes for a lovely Sunday Jaunt
In full: Really well thoughout out course that screams cross country all the way round, hills, ditches, mud, woods and some gravel. Well organisted but Tadley are a very good organising club as proved in thier other races.

In short: Well run race, where times were spoilt for the second year by Gale force winds
In full: A very good race, well marshalled good track start/finish, just a shame about the wind 2 years in a row otherwise my PB would certainly be here.

In short: Good race with the potential to be one of the best
In full: I really enjoyed this race, good scenery, undulating so I didn't get bored, the most worrying traffic was the horses and steam engines! The water was great in bottles, the marshals helpful and friendly, however the mile markers were so far out for not good reason, they are stakes in the ground and could easily be put in the correct place. Also the timing had me finishing a minute quicker than I did on the result sheets, as I paid for chip timing I don't expect this type of error (shame though I could of done with an extra minute. I will do it again as it is a very good race, but with a couple of points ironed out it could be one of the very best.

In short: Fantatstic Races for all the Family
In full: An excellent race which produce an abundance of smiles. My daughter recieved her first ever race number for the under fives race and a medal at the end (all free to enter). I got a PB on a undulating course and my wife enjoyed the atmosphere, this race is a must. The rganisation is brilliant and atmosphere superb, this is the type of event that UKA should focus on to get all ages into athletics!

In short: Hadr and Hilly enough to make you Smile
In full: This is a very well organised event that is fun to run with smile shines through the hill induced grimace. I knew about the first hill, but it is all the shorter steep hills in woods that do the damage. I did enjoy the king of the mountains idea even though I fell (literally) a little short on this occasion.

In short: So well organised you could be in Germany
In full: This is the best organised race I have run from small fell races to FLM, congratulations all those involved. Pretty quick course on mostly quiet roads with a good bunch of people, a very good wednesday evening.

In short: An Enjoyable Evening Around WInchester Cathedral
In full: Well done organisers you listened to the comments, the marshalling was much better making for an enjoyable evening. The course is still twisty but very enjoyable. My only slight gripe is that the medals don't have a ribbon, which is irratating and at the price you would expect a little better. Overall an step forward from previous years.

In short: Good mid-week race well organised
In full: It was a well organised event, where the marshall deserve a big thank you on a wet evening. Also well done to the organiser for postponing the start by 10 minutes due to heavy traffic conditions and changing the route to avoid deep puddles. Nice traffic free course that will isn't going to yield a PB but is good to run.

In short: Enjoyable HIlly/Fast 5miler
In full: On what was a rather wet and cold (7oC!) day, this was a tonic, well organised, the marshalls were great, quite a quick course and good scenery. I be back next year hopefully for another new PB.
