In short: Great organisation. Challenging course with a fair few hills. Marshalls were great, as were the people manning the drinks and jelly baby stations. The wind made it a bit more challenging this year. I' hope to be back next year. Date of review: February 19, 2011

In short: Excellent organisation. The course is undulating on quiet country lanes. The marshalls were friendly. The goody bag and momento was worth the effort of running 10 miles. I'll be back next year Date of review: February 4, 2011

In short: A good way to start the year. Much improved comms prior to the race. Well organised at race HQ. The marshalls were supportive, as were the few spectators around the course (thanks for the people handing out wine gums). A good testing 3 lap course. Date of review: January 25, 2011

In short: Excellent organisation. Good support from spectators, marshalls and other runners. Quite an undulating course overall but a good downhill stretch to finish. The T shirt was excellent. I'll be back next year. Date of review: November 15, 2010

In short: A good city marathon. The course is a combination of urban and rural area. Excellent support from marshalls and other runners. Spectator support this year was also very good. Overall a good course, the last mile uphill is always a struggle. Date of review: October 13, 2010

In short: An excellent race all round. The course has a few hills and it did rain a bit, however, the scenery and support from marshals, spectators and other runners make this a run to remember for all the right reasons. I'll be back next year. Date of review: October 9, 2010

In short: A race of two halfs. The first half is around the city, with a few hills, the secon half is around Holme Pierrepont and is flat. Seemed to be more supporters in the second half this year. The marshalls, st johns and drinks station people were great. Date of review: September 13, 2010
