In short: Deserving of it's critics...
In full: I arrived an hour before the start, so avoided all the initial problems that many endured, and was unaware of the water issues until friends finished later on, but have been caught out the same before, and it's awful!
I just wonder how small running clubs manage to put on wonderfully organised and marshalled events, hitch free, and with fantastic atmosphere, when seemingly 'professional' organisations like 2:09 manage to make a hash of things! I wouldn't be surprised if most runners from Tewkesbury instantly disgarded the 2:09 advertising booklet from within the goodie bag at the finish!!

In short: Beautiful location, great organisation, top race
In full: First time here, but felt it was a great race. Nice mix of running surfaces, with lovely views, smiling (and grimacing) runners, and brave marshalls for enduring the cold whilst cheering us on!
A great value run, which I'd love to do again. Many thanks all

In short: Great support throughout - Many thanks Reading!
In full: Far and away the largest run I've ever done, it lived up to my hopes with the atmosphere and support as you run through the city centre, listen to the bands and orchestras playing Chariots of fire, Rocky & Superman!
The free beer from the Nags head was much appreciated, as were the countless water & jelly baby stations!!
Many thanks to all concerned for allownig me to shatter my PB, despite having to push past nearly 500 others enroute to the magnificent finish line in the Madejski Stadium.

In short: Super fast course, confirmed by all the PB's!
In full: Like so many others, I managed to knock 2 mins off what I thought was a respectable PB!!
Weather was ideal also, marshalls on the whole friendly and cheerful, and great to get so much local support in the town.

In short: Lovely race, superbly organised and marshalled. Many thanks!
In full: Race was looking good from the outset due to the weather holding out nicely. Glad I left my waterproofs in the car!
Crowded at the start, but soon spread out when on the roads.
Very good marshalling, Policing (due to closed roads) and St. Johns cover all round. Many thanks to you all. The 2 water stations were also well placed, and quick with the refills. Thanks to you also ;-)
Lovely route around country lanes, with a few small (and one a bit bigger) hills in the first 5/6km, but then largely flat.
First time attending this, but being a new member of the UKNetRunner club, I'll definately be back next year!

In short: Undulating to say the least, but fun, fast, and knackering!
In full: The uphills made it quite a challenge, but the downhills more than made up for it, making it a very fast course.
Smashed my PB, depsite having to walk a few times to control breathing!!
Nice route, no traffic, superbly organised, and a nice coaster as a momento. Would've been nice if it mentioned the year, but that's hardly a major gripe!!
Many thanks to the Wye Valley Runners Club.

In short: Nice run, good for pace, weather held out, and a unique and generout prize!
In full: Was my first time, but am sure I'll be back for more.
Superbly marshalled (have never seen so many marshalls on hand before - many thanks to you all).
Weather was atrocious on the way there, but the rain held off for the run, and the wind calmed somewhat, meaning I was still able to get a new PB.
Only slight gripe was that the gun blew before we'd all been led to the start, meaning rapid fumbling with MP3 player to be ready, and starting further back than planned, but next time I'll make sure I head off sooner!
All in all, a top run, and I heard the momento descibed by another runner as 'the best he'd ever had following a race'. A lovely souvenir of a lovely day out.
Just a shame I had to go shopping after.
Can I suggest changing the date to not pre-xmas ;-)

In short: Great race, especially after the floods!
In full: Firstly, many thanks to all the organisers, stewards and water station personnel who all did a fantastic job. It all ran so smoothly!

Race was a tad to hot for me, resulting in me being forced to walk a little more than just the big hill, but nevermind.
Was a lovely atmosphere around, and I had a great time there.

Looking forward to more again next year...

In short: Upton has a lot to answer for....
In full: Shame about the full length not being possible, and the water shortages, but besides that, I was happy to complete this race again.
Will return next year for more of the same.
