In short: Superb
In full: its a pity that this race can't be twice yearly. i see that they moved the neeting this year that was a total surprise but still god. one question is since we have not had a lot of rain this year "WHO keeps FILLING UP ALL THOSE BIG PUDDLES. its just sheer bliss and i WILL RETURN next year " O and er i got a PB 1hr.9m.22s and better than last year (1hr.13m.39s)

In short: Hmmmmm
In full: what do i have to say well its like this. The Rain Started dead on 10:30 for us in the orange Wave and did not stop til i got home. I really did not have to use the water stations i just opened my mouth and let the rain pour in. now tha hard part and i think you all will agree with me the LAST PART coming around from the 8 mile to the finish GALES, MORE GALES AND EVEN MORE GALES THOU WITH THESE GALES I DID SET A PB WHICH I AM HIGHLY DELIGHTED WITH. NOW FOR THE SLOW PART WHICH WAS THE RESULTS ON THE OFFICAL WEBSITE A BIT SLOW BUT THEY GOT THERE IN THE END, ALSO THE LOCAL NEWSPAPER DID NOT DO A FULL RESULTS ONLY THOSE PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN THE AREA AROUND PORTMOUTH, BUT APART FROM THAT I AM GOING TO BE DOING THIS RACE AGAIN. NEXT YEAR WILL BE MY 4TH YEAR. WITH A SMILE

In short: Great Race
In full: this is (was) my 3rd time i have done this race and every time i do this race i score a personal best, however, i personally think the people with the zapper to record your time could be at the finish line rarther than 10-15 seconds past the finish line, also could do with another water station please otherwise a great race.

In short: great Race
In full: (MAIN RACE)
What lousy weather we had from Start to finish. 1st timer here 2h.16m.47s (ish), felt sorry for the marshalls who stood out up that mountain directing us to all the dangers around us. Great GODDY BAG AND SUPER MEDAL TOO. Like everyone else said about the bad conditions I AGREE it was bad but who cares once you got going i thing people forgot about it and set their minds on the Race, one more thing George (The Race Director) did us proud in organising this yrs race from Start to finish, and all of the other runners too who helped each other throu the 7 to 11 miles.
my motto for this race is "IF IT AINT RAINING IT AIN'T TRAINing (excuse the Pun)

In short: another good race by the new Director's
In full: yet another good race series, only gripe is those youth's who started out from the begining with out running numbers and causing a nuisance for about 3k, hope that something could be done for next year, apart from that well done to all who volunteered the're services to provide us with the water/sponge stations and also a well done to the Race Directors who put on a buddy go show for us. Thanks

In short: excellent race
In full: this is my second time i have done this race (2004 & this yr) can't find any fault with the race, the weather this yr was just right not to hot either despite some rain earlier in the morning. did a personal best in which i know off 1 second so i am really pleased and it was nice to have a bus there serving hot & Cold Drinks and of course the CAKES ;-) IS IT POSSIBLE to have this race to start at 11;15 EVERY YR please.
