In short: Pure speed for a 5m, but no frills.... no water stops and not much after either.... generally well orgainsed marshall wise. But if its PBs you want, then Victory 5m is for you.... Pure Speed. Date of review: September 20, 2009
In short: Fantastic orgaisation, Bigger races should look at hows its done here and take a leaf out of Voverton harriers books, well done all for a GREAT Race year on year. (Yes it has hills, but also down hills as well...) Date of review: September 5, 2009
In short: an expensive 1/2, but other than that everything was great. In full: Good event, canned racing at 4m and wauted for a friend and ran the last 9 with her.
Course, excellent, could do muliple events inc a mara there if chip timing was used.
Only down was the cost, 20 quid is alot for not a lot in return, not that im in it for the return, but (I know some goes to charity) but there are no major costs (unless venue is steep in prices) that the price could easily be 12-13 quid.....
On the up, well marshalled, great and easy route, good fludis and marshalls were good as ever.
In short: Organisation was clockwork, just like it had been running for years In full: This is a hard race, very challanging but very rewarding, the marshalls were fantastic, the facilites great, tea, coffees, cakes and bacon roll all available, fantastice race all round, PLEASE PLEASE run it again next year... (nice to have a race on a Saturday too and with a kids run too) GREAT Date of review: April 18, 2009
