In short: Very enjoyable day out
In full: Agree totally with previous comments, very well organised and well marshalled event in scenic market town well supported. It's not every race where the cows keep up - until the cattle grid at least!

In short: Fast course & well organised
In full: Deservedly popular race, need to arrive early for the car park, the start's ok if people use common sense, quickly thins out in to quiet country lanes, smart t-shirt. Only grouse was the congested finish area which could be taped off perhaps so finished runners can gossip out of the way of us plodders. Thanks RH.

In short: Great location but organisation could be improved
In full: Despite the extortionate parking charge, great location on a sunny spring day for a run. Only one marshall directing traffic? Why the delayed start? Instructions were clear - allow plenty of time for park entry so why inconvinence for the majority? Agree with comments about the start time, should be earlier, but as for water, come on it wasn't that hot, the rules (I think) don't actually require water stations for a 10k anyway. Thanks SAC I enjoyed it.

In short: Well organised club race appealing to everyone
In full: Hills? Wot hills? One or two slight inclines (and downhiils) just to stretch the old calf muscles on a respectable course that was well organised. Arriving an hour beforehand I parked near the entrance and was amazed at the amount of people that were still turning up at 9am and past that and then wondering where to park until a friendly marshall unlocked a gate (after other drivers had blocked access)! Improved finish since I did it last with the start on the road and finish on the track with plenty of room for water and t-shirt. Thanks Bolton UH.

In short: Challenging but scenic and for a good cause.
In full: Bit wary given the problems reported last year but it seemed to go fine. Parking a bit of a nightmare, given the dry weather thought they might have allowed parking on the fields. Uplifting atmosphere, up and down but glorious parkland with a nice finish. Not sure how people missed the water station, it was just past the start, because there was none left after the hour mark! Shame there were no XL t shirts, but otherwise it was OK. Mind you, doing the Meanwood Valley Trail the day before didn't help the aging legs...

In short: Ouch...
In full: Been aiming to do this for some years now and finally got round to it. Unseasonably warm and dry weather led to hard ground which together with the terrain and rocky paths and even a boulder to climb over and cliff face to conquer made it a bit hard for me. Set off too fast and paid for it later. That said, defo one to try as an introduction to trail running, excellent organisation and the best set of marshalls I've ever come across. Well done to all concerned.

In short: Challenging event around Esholt
In full: One to savour rather than race, towards the back anyway. Enjoyable way to spend Easter Sunday running around the water works, along the canal and up (and down) through the woods. Congested in places so expect a slower than normal pace. Good event worth doing if just for the change.

In short: Fast, flat & well organised
In full: Ran like clockwork with the usual good organisation by Salford Harriers complimented by fine weather. One of my favourite races.

In short: A challenging course set in parkland with track finish
In full: "the finish was miles away from the stadium" - ? The finish was at the stadium... Take the point about the sharp turn just yards from the finish though, perhaps due to the ongoing building work around the site? A tough course (this year with a gale force wind) but nevertheless enjoyable - I run the fun run as a warm up! Plenty of easy parking close by with good facilities at the stadium and all in a good cause.

In short: Playful course
In full: Early climb then up and down 2 lap course, nothing too severe but can be surprisingly draining on the legs. Well organised even if you do have to collect numbers on the day, just get there early! Lots of unattached/local runners to keep us plodders company.
