In short: Always a challenging course on a hot Sunday in August. Loads of drinks stations, excellent support from marshalls and the public. The finish in the market square is amazing. The start was a bit congested but otherwise fine.

In short: An undulating course. The whole village appeared to be out in force to support the runners. The marshalls were friendly. The beer at the end was most welcome.

In short: A great race. The race is well organised. It looked like the whole village came out to support the runners. The course is hilly, but OK. An excellent way to spend a Thursday night.

In short: An undulating course on a very hot day. A slow time today, just glad to get round. The marshals, specators and other runners were very supportive. Could have done with an additional drinks station today. Otherwise a good race.

In short: An undulating course, set in a beautiful part of the country. Good organisation, friendly marshalls and other runners made for a good atmosphere on what turned out to be quite a warm day. I'll be back next year.

In short: A flat multiple lap course. Very warm this year, which made the course a bit more challenging. Thanks to the organisers and marshalls for giving up their Friday evening.

In short: 2 big hill make this a challeging course. I find the crowd support is beaten only by the London Marathon. The organisation and marsahlls deserve credit for a great race. I'm looking forward to next year already to see if I can improve on my time.

In short: A reasonable race on a very warm day
In full: As others have said I think the start and the management of the course itself was a good improvement on last year.

The marshalls, spectators and the other runners were excellent in providing encouragement and support when the going got tough.
Thanks particularly to the people of local towns / villages for the vocal support, the hosepipe cooling, unofficial drinks stations and jelly babies - excellent.

What let the race down, as has already been said, was the distance from the finish line to the baggage lorries and then on to the shuttle buses. The last thing you want, when you've just run a marathon is another 2 miles of walking.

I plan to return next year, hopefully to improve on my time and also to see further improvements in the organisation, particularly at the finish.

In short: Great scenery and organisation. A challenging course with a few steep hills. Thanks to the marshalls, people manning the drinks stations and the spectators. A great day out. See you next year.

In short: A challenging first 6 miles then a reasonably flat 7 miles to the finish. Good support from the marsahlls and spectators around the course. A warm day this year. I'll be back next year, perhaps for the marathon.
