In short: Brilliantly organised, liked the route, shame I can't run in the heat
In full: There were loads of water stations, all manned by enthusiastic volunteers, a good route, decent medal, free t-shirt and excellent atmosphere. The organisers were even doing a survey at the end on runners impressions of the race.
Only problem was the heat. It was a killer. I recorded my worst time since 1999 after succumbing at 10 miles. It is the same every year. No matter how bad a summer we have you are guaranteed that the day they run the St Albans half will be the hottest of the year so far. I know it is probably logistically impossible, but could the race be run a few hours earlier?
Well done to everybody who managed to record a decent time.

In short: Not really a race but still great fun
In full: More like the running of the bulls, especially in the first section, than a race but I enjoyed myself. If you go along looking a PB or a good run, you'll be disapointed. It is for charity, everybody was very friendly and it was definetly an experience.

In short: Excellent organisation as usual, showing off Bracknell to it's full advantage. Gentle hills but still quick.
In full: I love this race. It is well organised and friendly. I suprised myself and got a PB as I always considered this a hilly course. Much of the race is flat but you do climb out of the town on miles seven and eight on a gentle gradient. Comprehensive water stations. Sounds stupid, but I like getting my medal from the mayor or councilors at the end.

In short: The scenic side of Watford! Nicely organised and friendly atmosphere. Couple of steep hills will make a PB hard but keep it interesting.
In full: I love the family feel to this event. I can't wait until my kids are old enough to do the 1km fun run. Great race.

In short: Excellent course for a PB, very good organisation.
In full: Hats off to the marshalls who gave up their good friday morning to stand in the rain and cheer and clap the runners round the course.
I arived early to had to park in the car park a mile from the start. This made perfect sense to me as people who arrive later are going to have less time to get themselves to the starting line.
A great race, thanks Maidenhead AC.

In short: Tough course but very enjoyable. Friendly atmosphere.
In full: I really enjoyed that! The hills were tough but rewarding and the scenery and country atmosphere was idyllic. I agree with the other posters that the pre-run info was below the standard we have come to expect and that the signs in the town to find the parking was nonexistent. I had to ask a police man where we were supposed to park. I know that some people had problems with the traffic in places but I thought the actual running of the race was pretty good and very friendly. Maybe I was just lucky but I had no issue getting to the toilet and found the changing and after race facilities perfectly acceptable.

In short: Excellent. A great credit to Watford.
In full: Well organised, good baggage and parking. Signposted from the M25 junction.
Very pleasant scenary, very different to what I was expecting. The hills were tough and it seemed that at the top of every one somebody would say, "That's it, its all downhill to the finish".
I starting feeling very sick at 10 miles and started walking (I had managed 8.5 min miles to that point) and an old man in a wheelchair shouted "Run 50 yards for me! Go on, dont stop!". Can't really beat that for encouragement.
