In short: Spot on...again
In full: Another series done - ran two of the three events...gutted that I had to miss one & could not race the final race as the course is surprising fast. Good support from the marshals esp on the final part of the course. Good positions for water & sponge stops. Roll on next year.

In short: A gently trail 13 miler......in your dreams. Hard as nails mud feast.....but enjoyable.
In full: Wow - I didn`t expect that. I suppose its like cross country meets trail running but 13 miles of it!! 90% off-road other 10% was necessary. Great scenery, directional signs everywhere - bit like the mud. Great route which made each mile very different from the last. Marshalling was spot on - special mention to the lady at mile 8 - she brought the smile back.

Well done Liss Runners & thanks to all the helpers. Tough but great event but thank goodness its over for another year.

In short: Nice, challenging mid-week off road series
In full: Nice, challenging mid-week off road series with friendly & well supportive marshals along the way - I managed to do all three. I`ll be back next year for some more. Thanks Finch Coasters.

In short: Another one for next year
In full: Simply excellent - stunning views along the river bank. Helpful, friendly & supportive marshals. Good number of water stops. When the course was moved away from the river bank the route was well marked. Well organised & well supported at the end. Top Tip - when next year`s entries are open get in fast. Many thanks to Claire, Chris & their team for another great Purple Patch event.

In short: A nice evenings run
In full: Another excellent event from the purple patch team. Simply turn up, park the car in the provided car park, drop the bag in the manned baggage area & just run one lap or two. No need to worry about traffic. Cup of tea to finish - just what the doctor ordered. Well done to PPR & the team. Thanks

In short: As good as last year
In full: Second year at this event for me, still as good as I remember. Got there nice and early & missed out on a cuppa. Nice course set within the grounds of Wellington School. No problem with parking or traffic. Nice numbers for the 5Km event too. Will be there next year.

In short: Fantastic feeling of achievement
In full: The drop down tabs in more detail;

Scenery - Wonderful views near the lookout - it will take you mind off the running.

PB Potential - Add anything from 30 mins, 45 mins or 60 mins to your current HM PB.

Atmosphere - Never have I been to an event with such an "One for all, all for one" feeling - great support.

Organisation - Where to I start..race numbers / T-shirt with your name printed on, signs along the way, picnic afterwards.

Value - Post-Race Goodies afterwards excellent.

Beginner-friendliness - In terms of the route...maybe not the best first time race.

Top tip - Book up early as next year`s race will be another sell out.

Thank you all for such a great event.

In short: What a little cracker
In full: A very nice village fete event. Tough course with plently of hills packed within the 10Km route. One of the things I liked was that it is an out & back route so you can see everyone who is running. There are also smaller runs - 500m, 1Km & 4Km - being held so fun for all the family. Good finishing area with plently of room to watch the finishers & relax afterwards. Many thanks to Rotary Club of Alresford for a well organised event. See you next year.

In short: Just as good as last year but without the sun
In full: Second time of entering this event, and it was just as good. Good organisation, good support from the marshals & good number of helpers at the (3) water stops. The 3 different pacers was a nice touch - something for most runners to aim for. Nice support on the way through the line. Afterwards a good goodie bag & very nice medal. Still the course if you want a PB. Good car parking & baggage storage. Results on-line shortly afterwards. Would like to see an actual start time rather than a gun time. Great event - roll on next year.

In short: Nice countryside run
In full: Great route which takes you through some enjoyable countryside, ok a couple of hills are thrown in but nothing too serious. Approx finishing time markers at the start is, to me a sign of a good event. Nice finishing area - plently of support. Thanks to all involved for putting this event on. Nice one.
