In short: great day out
In full: I really enjoyed it. The organisation/marshalling seemed flawless though having done it before I knew what to expect. The fact the race started on time must have meant they've sorted out most of the traffic trouble of previous years so well done CONAC. The weather was ideal too. It seems like it is mainly uphill, probably because it is what with the new change but I still think it is a quick course.

Seeing Ronnie O'Sullivan at the end was a highlight!

In short: too hot for me!
In full: Everything seemed good apart from the weather. It was just too hot running at that time of day. I think 10am would have been too late to start. If I do it again I'll just enter on the day - I've learnt a lesson.

In short: A fast course and a well organised race - nice!
In full: As one of those people who was perhaps not as early as I could have been, the delayed start helped me out quite a bit. The organisation seemed very good, especially the drinks stations, and number of marshalls around the course.
I rather liked the course itself as it wasn't very undulating, which meant I could set a PB again and if you had never done the course before 2 laps means you can plan where to pick your speed up 2nd time around.
Goody-bag wise I think it's nice to get one, as I've done plenty of races where you only get a medal, so the fact we got an apple/banana/cereal bar was cool.
Nice T-Shirt too!

In short: very enjoyable and a PB
In full: The only qualm I had was that they couldn't send you your race number beforehand like in every other race I've done. This meant I had to get there earlier than I would have liked. Great goody-bag though, I very much enjoyed the chewy bar thing. Good course; the 2 laps made planning my speed much easier, and I felt it was a fast course. Well organised.

In short: The best organised 10k I've ever done.
In full: The course was very tough, with at least 3 hard hills, however it is extremely well organised, and all the stuff you got at the end was great. I really liked the t-shirt. A race I will definitely do next year if I can, and it is improved from when I last did it 2 years ago. A great atmosphere, good support for beginners and the charity is great winner from this event.

In short: Quite an easy course, despite the strong headwind for about 2k. Well organised, and a nice atmosphere, with some very good athletes and some not so good.
