In short: A well organised and friendly race with a good atmosphere!
In full: This was the first time I have done my local race and I will definitely be back next year. My legs were like lead at the end but all in all what a wonderful race. Well organised and very friendly.

In short: Normally a great race - pity about the delay and lack of water.
In full: This is one of my favourite races and it was a real pity that it was spoilt this year by the 45 minute delay to the start and the lack of water in what was an absolutely boiling hot day.

I think the organisers were a little unlucky and if the weather had been cooler the water problems and delay would not have bee such a big issue. But in this weather it was a real nightmare.

Overall though I still think that this is a great event and I will probably do this again next year - but will be praying for a much cooler day.
