In short: A well organised 10k with chip timing and friendly race host. In full: Had a great race despite the weather. Managed to get within a minute of my PB in the terrible wet and windy conditions so this one is definitely PB potential for next year. You can't help the weather but the organisation can make or break an event. Fortunately the organisation was great and everything went like clockwork. Inspite of the conditions everyone seemed happy and with the chip timing the results were available straight away at the finish. A big well done to organisers and runners alike for putting up with the weather with a smile. Date of review: March 4, 2007

In short: Testing course, a worthy challenge In full: Enjoyed it, set a pb by about 17 minutes but it was hard work into the wind in places. Almost came to a stop on one of the hills when the wind blew hard! There were lots of marshalls, who gave good support to the runners and police at the larger road junctions to direct the traffic. Would definitely put this one on the list of do again. Date of review: December 3, 2006

In short: I use this race as the focus race of the year for PB attempt. In full: I really enjoy this race so I'm a bit biased. There are runners of all calibre and this creates a good strong field and hence the PB potential. Although not entirely flat, the depth of runners definately help pull you along to a fast time, if thats your goal. I would highly recommend this race to anyone (and regularly do).
